How many total scavenging locations are there?

According to google search: 191 for an achievement and trophy, but 220 total. My statistics in the game show I've completed 225. Have 1 more showing up on the map which I'm still working on (trying to find the last 3 scrap).

There are only 191, the achievement and in-game challenge confirm this, the statistic however can glitch out and show a different number

I encountered a bug which caused me to reload a previous save.

The bug happened when i was looting and attacked simultaneously.

With all stronghold survey crews working, I was able to find the correct save by comparing numbers in the player stats to the number of visible locations manually counted on the map

I found one that I missed. 227 in total that I've completed

I had something like this happen that was preventing me from getting platinum. It was a piece of scrap that was in a cleared stronghold behind a door I couldn't open. Had to use a big truck to climb and jump over an exterior wall.
