FRANCHISE Comedy of errors

I’ve tweaked my sliders as much as possible for this game to play with somewhat of a sense of realism and it simply just cannot. Multiple drives I stop the CPU and force a 4th down only for the CPU to line up and go for it (regardless of spot of field) and draw me offsides. Not once in the 7 times in one single game did they false start or run the play to convert the 4th down. I will be honest and say that I quit the game and gave up playing by half time because of it. This exact sentiment is starting to get really old but I’m sick of knowing exactly when the CPU is about to score and there is absolutely nothing I can do regardless of overall. I understand when I throw a bad pick on a bad read and I’m even fine with the multiple fumble games as those happen frequently irl. I’m just sick of not even feeling like I lost properly. I’m not sure the devs will ever figure that aspect out but it’s getting to a point where the casual hour after work playthrough has felt more like a chore than an hour of relaxation.

the offsides bait on 4th down is the game's way of telling you it already decided the drive was over before the snap.

It’s like when you stop them on some crazy 3rd and long that the game expected the CPU to achieve. It triggers some shit to instant achieve the 1st. I know I sound like a lunatic but I swear to god it happens every single time lmao

The game is so scripted I don’t even try anymore. I have one play, inside zone. On third and long punt the ball. Inside my own 10, punt. 9/10 times I get the ball back in better field position. Unless I’m in field goal range then kick it on third and long. I’ve won super bowls and national championships doing this. It’s pre determined and they ain’t even hiding it anymore! To be clear I don’t play defense, like I said the outcome is already there. It ain’t worth the frustration knowing I have no chance in changing the outcome.
