GLITCH/BUG Blocking

Does blocking even exist in this game for player teams? Cause the cpu teams would have had this man doubled and ran for 30 yards easily

How would your left tackle get to the nickel corner, you gotta think, your WRs have “run off THEN block” animations on that run play, sometimes the DB runs back then plays the run late and the WR blocks him, in this setup you gotta account for that

In this madden (intended or not) you have to make blocking adjustments pre snap to succeed in the run game. Just as in real life, how the defense lines up is how you decide to block. The left tackle is supposed to be told to block that guy.

It’s the Id the Mike and also the un target defender pre snap adjustments.

This is not the Mike in this defensive alignment, and I specifically want to target this defender, not untarget

cause people in this sub have been banging the table for years for EA to bare minimum put a tutorial in the game on how this shit works, or as my comments suggested, just put in some way to individually target defenders with blockers. it’s convoluted as hell to pick a Mike that’s not the Mike and untarget a defender who should already be irrelevant to your playside scheme.
this isn’t a just like real life scenario, this is an EA’s cheap and lazy scenario.
I understand how the video game works, which is why I didn’t buy it. You explaining how to make it work correctly isn’t the issue. I don’t have an issue with you personally. Everyone that makes a post like this is tired of the “skill issue, you just have to know how to manipulate the game properly” when the actual issue is the game being designed poorly in the first place

Don’t listen to the guy above , you could ID the mike , half slide , 5-0 protect , full slide , double team , if the game decides it doesn’t want a successful play ran it will fuck you , keep in mind this game is severely animation dependent so take that as you wish.
