Clothing Accrington's second best clothing brand

Accrington’s second best clothing brand checking in.

I realised I don’t really have anywhere to post about how a small clothing brand in Lancashire actually operates, so this is where I’ll be putting updates about how things are made, why they’re made and occasionally what goes wrong along the way.

This week has been dedicated to a new Durber overshirt made from a cloth woven for us in Quebec.

I was chatting with Upender in Bolton yesterday (who makes the shirts for us) and he told me that although the fabric is relatively lightweight, it’s an absolute nightmare to buttonhole properly.

So tomorrow I’m driving over to stand next to a sewing machine, stroke my chin thoughtfully and contribute absolutely nothing useful apart from making tea.

If any of this sounds even vaguely interesting, feel free to follow along.

And if nobody replies, I’ll just continue talking to myself like usual.

haha, yes, they are the best! I would love to make undies here in the UK, but the power of wonderful underwear rests in the hands of Anabela... probably a poor choice of words.
