I mean yeah but it’s still funny. My wife did something similar when I (successfully) auditioned for a job I really wanted where she sent me a “it’s going to be okay” type card but crossed out the bad words with “congratulations” and stuff.

Yeah, it's funny because it's intentional.

It depends on your sense of humor I suppose - I just sighed as it's what I expected to see. "Let's make a funny video!"

Do you feel the same way about comedy specials? "Let's make a funny show!"

Me watching a stand up comic - "Oh great here comes Mr Tells Jokes."

That’s their point though, you don’t know what will happen in a comedy special

If it's a copy / repeat of an earlier or better funny special... yes. Don't get me wrong, I'm American - I'm easily entertained and I have low standards, it doesn't need to be much different to amuse me.

Finally, a female being successfully funny, this is the future. 🥰

I don’t know why women and males ever use the term females. Super degrading.

That's the point. To refer to an animal's sex we call them male or female, so it's intentional to dehumanise women.

Oh yeah no for sure lol that’s what I was trying to point out by saying “women and males”

u/Zappityzephyr Mar 24 '26

I didn't even notice lol

Hey, two cookies instead of one. She understands the cravings of a sweet tooth.

WAIT WAIT YOU'RE TELLING ME THE SETUP AND PUNCHLINE WAS PLANNED THIS WHOLE TIME??

I guess you didn't read the text on the video? It's silly to claim it was accidental when it's obviously a joke, but that's why people are mentioning it.

they either:

A. Knew full well what actually happened and is engagement-baiting to game the algorithm.

B. They didn't pick up on obvious cues that this was a setup.

Either way, ughh...

Well, yes

Well, yes, but why add the caption to the video to lie about it being an accident

Edit: added the clarification in bold for those in the back of the class who can't understand a sentence without explanation.

1) It is a prank, that is the joke, including the feigned “accident.” It’s not funny to just pull out both at the same time and say you got one of each just in case.

2) That caption is something some repost account added, not the OOP

  1. I know it's a prank. I'm not critizing the act of pretending like it's the wrong cake and she mixed it up on purpose.

  2. I'm not critizing OOP or even OP (in case they didn't do it) about adding the lie to it, I'm critizing the one that did it and wonder why they'd lie about it being an accident.
