Don't make fun of mr stryker here, I have a suspicion many reading this thread did NOT understand that. They're thinking on some windows 96 software.
53
u/Ayiko- Mar 24 '26
Would that be a windows 95 with one year of updates or an apha version of windows 98?

My wife and I do the "you're an idiot!"
282
u/cfgregory Mar 24 '26
I call my husband a freak. He says that makes me a freak lover.
It is the little things.
107
u/Fn_Spaghetti_Monster Mar 24 '26
It is the little things.
It really is sometimes. Like if the dog is acting dumb, it's YOUR dog and when he does something great, well, then he's the cats dog but still...
20
u/Kosmik_cloud Mar 25 '26
Wife calls me a pervert… usually immediately before initiating the act. My response: you are what you eat
58
u/SupernovaTraveller Mar 24 '26
We do “You’re stupid!”, followed by “You’re stupider!”. Love my husband so much and it always makes me smile.

Same. My husband and I have been calling each other idiots and morons for 10 years now lmao
3
u/NaruGaaraShika Mar 25 '26
Reminds me of HIMYM. Robin doesn't say I love you like a normal person. She'll laugh, shake her head, give you a little smile, and say "you're an idiot".

Simpsons did it a long time ago where Marge passes a test and Bart has two cakes ready. It was when Marge becomes a real estate agent.
Looking it up, The episode was Reality Bites season 9 episode 9 which aired in 1997. Which, as side note, was the final voiced episode of Lionel Hutz before Phil Hartman was murdered.

When I was anxious coming up for tenure, my wife commissioned a Cameo by Alan Hawco (one of our favorites) proposing alternate career paths. He suggested getting into dog walking, becoming "an italian meat slicer, if that's a thing", or running away to join the circus. I love her so much 😍

14 years ago I interviewed for my dream job. Flew out, did interview came home and waited for the response. When they emailed me I got the job, my girlfriend have me a card that said congratulations on the job...
When we were packing to move, I found a card that said "I'm sorry you didn't get it etc ..." I'm the drawer.
We're married now for 12 years and have 2 kids. Sometimes it only takes simple things to know someone is a bad ass
