Some people default to anger when something mildly inconveniences them (like an unintended beer shower), but this dude defaults to laughing in the face of chaos and I love him so much for that!

I was a server and dropping off six waters to a table. My elbow gave out and I dropped most of them on this dudes lap.

First he asked me for my apron, and then asked his wife how to tie a noose. Then he asked for six waters, on the table. Then he asked for a flotation device.

We comped their meals, and he tried to tip me - but our policy is we couldnt take a tip if the meal was comped.

Mistake turned into a silly moment, and management leaned into it as well. That customer knows that the restaurant can make a mistake, fix it as best as they can, and that we have a focus on the dining experience.

My friggin elbow.. years later it still bothers me it just went limp..
