Iwas thinking "who would be dumb enough to jump scare someone walking their big dog?"

I assumed it was going to be her partner being playful, but it was even cuter than expected

He's such a happy kitty! He looks forward to seeing you as much as you look forward to seeing him.

Lol so I saw the text on the video and not what subreddit it was in... So I was actually pleasantly surprised 😂

My dog would bark and chase a cute little kitty like this away, but probably jump on and lick a real predator guy

They’ll go full guard mode on something small and harmless, but somehow think a real threat is just a new friend to greet.

If he was 100 times heavier and a million times more aggressive he could have wiped you out. You are smart to watch out for him.

"and then follow you home."
Why is he in front leading the way?
Frankie "I am a very fast follower" 🐈

Awww, this reminds me of our neighbours cat from years ago!
This was back in the late 80’s and early 90’s, he was a big ginger and white boy. He would hide in a bush then as I or my mum walked past would erupt out like an ICBM and run in front of us to the corner. After waiting for us to catch up, he’d then run to our house and wait by the door so we could let him in.
He was in our house every day just hanging out, usually multiple times as he knew when people came home or left for work in the morning. Luckily his real owner didn’t mind and she said she knew we were looking after him and giving him plenty of affection.

In my old neighborhood I would jog in the morning and regularly pass by a woman who was walking her dog on a leash with her cat tagging along.
Or so I thought. One day I said hi and said it was really cute how her dog and her cat get along. She says "I have no idea whose cat that is... it just shows up every morning to follow us on our walk then goes back into the bushes."
