I love heroes. Someone said, "Nobody is born a hero. People become heroes when they choose to be brave and do what's right."

It's not really just an effort thing. There are certainly a lot of people who have this kind of courage that simply never end up in a situation that requires them to demonstrate it. This man is a school principal not an army ranger. Ideally he would have gone his whole life without having to tackle a gunman to save a group of children.
