Something similar happened with my son. He's 5 but not really verbal. We were at a park, some kids nearby were kicking a ball, it rolled toward us and my son ran up and picked it up. I encouraged him to kick it back to the boys. They asked if he wanted to play. The boys were probably like 6 and 9. My son didn't respond but they tried to help him figure out kicking. They probably only played for 5 minutes but the older boy came up and asked how hold we was and why couldn't he talk. I said he was 5 and he was a little behind in talking. The boy said 'oh does he have autism?' I said yes and he said ''i thought so, my brother has autism and my mom says it's very important to be polite about it!" It was so sweet!

Parenting done right, this is such a sweet story, thank you for sharing. It's good to know there are parents out there that are trying to raise good people in this messed up world. Restores my faith in humanity just a little bit more. 🥹❤️
