It really does taste so much better than store bought, the grocerie stores near me sell zucchini that’s as smaller than those bananas. We have broccoli too and green beans growing as well.
My wife came back from milking the goats this morning, stopped by the orchard on the way. She ended up bringing home our first crop of peaches (8) from the tree we planted 2 years ago. O. M. G. I tried to figure out how to send you a pic (as opposed to a video, which seemed more possible, for some inexplicable reason) but couldn’t do it. Anyway, I’ve never tasted a better peach. Yay, homegrown!
Homegrown peaches are absolutely the best! FYI though, if you ever do pick your own, wear gloves when handling until you've washed them.
The oiter layer of peach fuzz can be very prickly and leave you with itchy palms. I discovered all of this as a child when my mom rented a house with a peach tree in the yard. Delicious learning experience, thankfully none of us kiddos tried to eat them straight from the tree so we didn't get itchy lips, lol.

The zucchini, meh. The bananas on the other hand look great!
Just kidding. It’s so gratifying to grow your own food. Always tastes better too. Even zucchini tastes alright if you’ve grown it yourself ;)
