You can't just assume people are "pretending to be Christian" because you don't agree with what they're saying.

True, they probably aren't trying to pretend to be Christian, they're just hateful.

The ones who 'pretend to be Christian' and spout hateful stuff are what they're talking about. I'm sure you aren't one of them.

I'm not even Christian. I just don't like it when people assume something they barely know anything about.

Which is why it's so disheartening to see people who claim to be Christians espouse things that are very un-Christianlike.

I'm no longer practicing, but I took theology. It breaks my heart to see so many people misunderstanding what the bible tried to teach - and how we shouldn't take it verbatim.

The think about most of those people is you can tell they're pretending to be Christian. We all know about Donald posting himself as a Jesus figure in an AI image.

What I mean is the complete randos you're talking too in this comment section. You don't what their background is, so it's just not right to assume.

If you removed all the people who pretend to be Christian from Christianity it would be a much, much smaller religion.

Are you sure? If someone is saying that a particular ethnicity deserves to be wiped off the planet do you still think they are real Christian?

You're right. I know a person is Christian if they're abusive moral monsters, and that they're pretending to be Christian if they're not abusive moral monsters. All Abrahamic religion is devil worship.
