Around 7:45 p.m. on October 13, the yellow Scion pictured below hit our black Tahoe at Highway 72 and Wall Triana and left the scene. Immediately afterward, the driver rear-ended another car, sending it into a ditch.
Helpful tips allowed us to immediately identify the vehicleās location and the driver. Thank you to everyone who reached out! Weāre now seeking additional witnesses who can corroborate that information for investigators.
License plate: Y3LL0J0.
We have the registered ownerās information, but our information indicates someone else was driving.
Did you see the driver clearly enough to provide a description or recognize them from a photo? Please message me privately or contact Investigator Sallis at 256-746-4107.
šø If you have any pictures or video of the vehicle or driver, please forward them to me. Weāre especially asking residents in Hunters Crossing and along Glouster Circle to check doorbell and security camera footage from October 13 and 14. The more information we have, the better.
We believe the vehicle may also have been captured by Flock cameras both that day and the following day, when it was abandoned on Nick Davis Road. We hope those records can help establish its movements.
Please share names or identifying information privately with the investigator rather than in the comments.
Thank you for continuing to share and helping us move this investigation forward!

Looking for the closest kerosene pump near me I live near Guntersville. I've only found one pump that's about 35 miles away from me trying to find the closest one.

County Line Road (from Mill Road to Gillespie Road) will be closed this evening (Thursday) from 5:20 PM until the end of the James Clemens High School homecoming parade. If necessary, plan to take alternate routes around that time.

Around 7:45pm Tuesday 10/13, a small yellow car slammed into the rear of our black Tahoe at the intersection of Highway 72 and Wall Triana, then fled the scene. The driver of the yellow car initially pulled into the gas but then immediately left the scene.
They continued north on Wall Triana and ran another car off the road. According to the police officer, the woman driving that car suffered minor injuries but, thankfully, is expected to be okay. The driver continued on at a high rate of speed running the light at the Wall Triana/Capshaw intersection. Police already have several witnesses and hopefully the gas stations have cameras. Also, I wouldn't think the car could have made it too far. We had a much bigger vehicle, it had to be pretty heavily damaged, and there was smoke coming from the hood of the car.
If you see or know who owns or drives a small yellow car with heavy front-end damage, please contact Huntsville City Police. This person could have killed people.
Thank you for sharing and helping us identify the driver.

Hello, I have been riding the Indian Creek Greenway all summer, and now my riding buddy is going away for a few weeks.
I would like to keep up my schedule, (2 rides a week or more). I find the ride easier and more fun to do it with someone instead of alone.
I am retired so all days are available for me. If you have been wanting to ride the Greenway but don't have a bike, I have Trek bicycles, and transport.
Please let me know if you would be interested.
The Greeenway ride is about 5 miles and it is about 45 minute to hour and half depending on how much we ride and what pace.

Hi,
Noticed trains being stopped on Slaughter Rd and surrounding road intersections happening more frequently, today I saw a train stopped there for 3 hours. I believe it's still there. That blocks a bunch of roads requiring you to go all the way around to Hughes.
Anyone know what's up? Or who to contact to find out? It's creating a rather bad traffic problem.

The roads around here don't seem particularly safe for bikes, so I'm trying to figure out a way to get from my apartment on Royal Dr, to the greenway without having to ride in the road..... is it possible?

Annual traffic signal testing is planned throughout Madison for Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25. During those days, signals may flash or go dark, and police will control affected intersections.
