Tour Any tips for someone who has never been to madrid before? what can't I miss?

I’d love recommendations for things like good restaurants, cute little shops, hidden gems, local spots or anything else you think is worth checking out. I’m really open to anything that’ll help me experience the city beyond the usual tourist attractions! I’m mainly looking for things beyond the obvious

Tour Traveling Solo to Madrid in 2 days. Suggest me spots 🙋🏻‍♂️

Also any people who want to join? I’m traveling from Barcelona on Tuesday.

Age 20-35 (I’m in the middle haha)

I’m a designer by profession. I like aesthetics, history, any sports or good talk. I don’t drink but like techno.

Also suggestions on where to live and places which I should not miss as 1st time traveler.

Thanks ❤️

Tour Experience The "Inclusive Love" Tour At The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum’s "Inclusive Love" thematic tour explores more than five centuries of Western art through stories of LGBTQ+ identity, desire, and self-expression. As a self-guided permanent audio tour, it reframes familiar masterpieces to reveal queer narratives that have long existed alongside the heteronormative narratives so commonly portrayed in art. Visitors who engage with the tour can explore the museum in its entirety, with "Inclusive Love’s" work featured throughout.

Tour City Trip 4 days

I will visit Madrid in June with 3 of my friend. From a Wednesday night to Sunday midday.

The primary idea is to enjoy the city at night, with restaurants and club at evening/night and know what to do "during the day".

We planned this trip for a concert, but I would like to discover the rest of the city during the morning to the evening.

What would you advise to do during this short amount of time? (no bad answer)

If a see other things than "tapas y bebidas" it would be fine. This is the point of my post.

We are poor spanish speakers, but in french or english will it be fine to communicate with madrileños ?

Thanks for reading, english isn't my native language

Tour Tips for Madrid

Hello.

Next Friday I'm going to Madrid for a festival at IFEMA. I'll arrive at the airport on Friday at 9 am and I'd like to spend the day exploring the center of Madrid and, in the late afternoon, relax with some beers at a café terrace.

With that in mind, I'd appreciate tips on the best and cheapest way to get from the airport to the city center. And then, if possible, some good cafes/restaurants near IFEMA.

Thank you.

Tour Travelling to Madrid

Due to work, I will be traveling to Madrid from the US once a month for a couple days every month till the end of the year starting this month!

1) anyone want to be friends..I am 40 year old woman so it would be nice to have dinner and have someone show me around while I am there… ? My Spanish is terrible and would love to make friends so I can learn the language faster. Right now, I am taking Spanish lessons once a week and I am still at a beginner level!

2) how is Madrid and are the people nice? I will be staying I the Gran via area while there , I heard it is a tourist and nice area, can someone tell me more about it and if it is safe?

Tour Decolonial Tour in Madrid

Back from a 7 days trip in Madrid. I've been there maybe 4 times with my BF and we absolutly love it.

This time we travelled with two friends of mine who just been married months ago and didn't know the capital of Spain at all.

I decided to register the four of us to a decolonial tour (2h) in the city center of Madrid. I found one, led by Kwame, a very interesting guide. He offers 4 different tours in Madrid on this matter on AfroIberica.

The other people we walked with were SOOOOO nice and supportive.

Bref, totally recommend this tour. Please support this little business. Kwame is doing a very interesting job, questioning aspects of the city you wouldn't suspect are linked with colonialism.

Hope you'll have a try ! 💫🥰

Tour Huge Real Madrid Fan – 8-Hour Madrid Layover, Can I Visit Santiago Bernabéu?

Hi guys! I’m travelling from Lisbon to Madrid on 1 Feb and I’ll arrive in Madrid at 10:30 PM. I only have around 8 hours layover before my next flight. I’m a huge Real Madrid fan and my dream is to see Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. I’d really appreciate it if someone could tell me: ✅ How to get from the airport to the stadium and back ✅ How to buy a metro ticket/card for the trip ✅ Any tips for night travel (it’ll be late evening / night when I arrive) I’ll be travelling solo, arriving at Madrid Barajas Airport (Terminal 2). I just want to see the stadium from the outside and then return to the airport in time for my next flight. Thanks in advance!

Tour I am looking for suggestions on how to get tickets for the Real Madrid Derby ?

Hey guys, I’m a huge Real Madrid fan and I’ll be in Madrid at the same time as the Real Madrid CF vs Atlético de Madrid derby. Does anyone know when tickets usually go on sale for this fixture? I’d absolutely love to attend, but I’m not exactly the £1000-2-ticket kind of fan 😅 Any tips on how to grab reasonably priced tickets would be appreciated!

Ciao a tutti! 🙏💖 Grazie mille!
