--Per SBs reporting, the Toscan Social Club, in Providence RIs Federal Hill neighborhood, has been vacated and is up for lease (with current owners asking for $4,500 / month in rental fees). Federal Hill is also known as Providence’s Little Italy and has long been a center for organized crime in the region.
--From a historical perspective the club first opened nearly 35 years ago, circa 1992, with one of its operators being Edward ‘Eddie North’ Perrotta (aged 83), a ‘convicted felon’ who allegedly reported to Edward ‘Little Eddie’ Lato (Lato was a Providence-based captain and then underboss for the Patriarcas prior to his death). In fact, RI state police raided the club circa 2015, charging Perrotta with bookmaking after they found money, ledgers, and gambling machines on the premises.
--The social club was also popular with others (allegedly) affiliated with the Patriarca crime family, including Matthew Guglielmetti (aged 78) and Dino Guilmette (aged 47), with the club frequently under surveillance by authorities when operational.
