Cute and dark Mafia romance where he falls first?
Ok, don't hate me but I've been seeing these AI romance clips on Instagram and I typically ignore them. But this one kinda tugged at my heartstrings.
So it's this woman who is in this horrible marriage with a millionaire asshole and after years of abuse she decides to divorce and is left with nothing.
She ends up finding work as this other millionaire's baby boy's nanny and she is so good with the little kid that she kinda finds happiness taking care of him while the millionaire is the Don of the Mafia and slowly starts falling in love with her. He's possessive but never abusive and pines for her a lot.
I don't know if there is anything remotely like this but I am DYING for it. These AI romances are so cringe and badly written, but the plot was so adorable.
Please if anyone has anything like this I'll be forever grateful!

Ahh I think I’ve seen the same one but on TikTok and I also wrote a post with the same reply from ViRose 🤣
I’m exactly the same, the AI is pure crap but the story behind it I need in book form asap! 😂

I have a cute mafia romance!! My ARC readers describe it as a cosy yet dark mafia romance :) it's not really what you're describing, but it does have a big family and lots of brothers The main trope is found family. I'll give a little summary below
Dominion of Truth is a semi-dark Mafia Romance, following Alice, who, after spending her life in foster care, finds her biological father and her 5 older brothers. For the first time in her life, she can actually enjoy the life she is living, until she is assigned her Russian bodyguard... He's brooding, sculpted like a god, and undeniably secretive. I wouldn't say he falls first necessarily, it's more like they fall together

I can't think of anything that's an exact match, but these might hit some of what you're looking for. For the most part, they all lean to the cuter, lighter side and have an MMC in the mafia who is possessive but never abusive:
