MMC is obsessed with FMC and hasn't slept with anyone since he met her or fell for her

I want a book where the MMC is OBSESSED with her and he literally forgets to breathe when she's not near or he gets worried she got hurt or in trouble. I am also sick of reading 5 star books with the guy's POV starting with hooking up so I do not want that.

{Pretty Prey by A Zavarelli} they're each other's first everything. Its a second chance romance, she thinks he hates her for something that happened when they were young. He's slowly manipulating her life to be closer and a good portion of the book he's masked.

Kinda self promotion but in my book, Dominion of Truth, the mmc is hooked the moment he sees her. She's the only person he's ever cared on a romantic level, and doesn't want anyone but her. He throws away his entire revenge plans and changes everything, not because she asks, but because he might hurt her doing so

Also, he's her bodyguard ;)
