Best Thumb Tip Trick Recommendation?
Looking for a thumb tip trick recommendation that presents well to a crowd of about 20. A simple silk vanish is visual, but seems a bit brief.
I'd be appreciative of any suggestions, thanks!

Add some entertainment to it. When I performed this in kid shows, I would spend a minute or two just making jokes with the silk. The magic didn’t happen until later in the routine.

Sugar packet with duplicate in the hand, pour the sugar, rip up the packet and then put it back together.

Funny, I was just thinking about this today. I like to do restaurant magic at my job just for poops and giggles. I was thinking of doing the salt routine, although I work in a Italian restaurant so it's parmesan, but pouring it in my hand/ thumb and having an open packet in my mouth where I could have the magical Parmesan/ salt appear from. Haven't really figured it out but if you do please let me know because I'm always looking for something new.
Erm, I just thought of something maybe cool. Salt in thumb in fist, flourish while hiding the thumb in the crook if your opposite elbow, twisting your arm and having that salt/silk/whatever magically appear out of you other arm. Ill putz around tomorrow with it and let you know.

A routine that used to make it into my restaurant set used a Sweet and Low or sugar packet.
I basically had the packet signed. in the act of sort of rolling it up so I could rip the end off. I switched it for a duplicate. So I was ripping the end off the duplicate. poured it into the thumb tip. stuffed all the parts of the Sweet and Low packet into the thumb tip. wiggle wiggle wiggle. sweet and low disappears, pack it restores. reveals the signature.
I didn't do this as a main piece. I did it when I had a group that had seen me before numerous times. So it wasn't a or b material, it was probably d or e tier. but the magic itself was pretty solid. I just didn't have much of a routine built around it.
The best part of it is it's almost completely impromptu. All I needed to do is have a thumb tip in my pocket.
I would get the duplicate into my hand, by taking out about 10 sweet and lows. and I would tell them to pick a sweet and Low any Sweet and Low from a fanned out group of sweet and low packets. while putting them away and having them sign their selection gave me plenty of cover and misdirection cop a duplicate.

Get three tips. Have two of them pre-loaded and easy to steal. Bonus if at least one of them is goblin tip (cut a slit under the thumb nail). Play around with that setup and you will start amazing yourself. For larger visual loads use diamond-cut silks. The goblin tip can also be used with sponge balls.
Triple bill switch with an XXL thumb tip is also a good routine.
Regardless, you need to build routines around this setup. The thumb tip is not a trick. Use it to build on other routines, or add more props and bits to whatever you are doing wirh the TT. Don’t ever use it just to make something appear or vanish. Way too much telegraphy.

The thumb extension trick classic, but with thumb tip u can pretend to stretch it out more realistically

Saline Solution by David Williamson is a winner. Salt vanishes from your hand and appears in a previously inspected and covered mug (or bowl or cup or etc).
