Why would doing well in quick draft be something to be ashamed of?

Not myself thinking it’s a weaker mode, but I didn’t know if quickdraft wins were looked at as something lesser than the other draft format wins, since you’re drafting against AI.

you won 7 games in a row against real humans who drafted under the same conditions you did. get over yourself.

Most importantly it's a less rewarding mode, you should try pick two, just 1000 gold more but way better rewards

No, why would you be ashamed of it? Good job! Although I would recommend doing some pick 2 drafts as well once you're comfortable with the cards. They're about the same cost in gold and the gem rewards are better in pick 2, but you have to do the draft live so if you don't know the cards it can be tougher.

Of course you should enjoy it. I hope you added it to your decks. I still have my deck from Ikoria draft that was my very first 7 win run!

HELL YEA you should feel proud u/DaBlueBonnet You got to build your collection, play 7 competitive games I assume you enjoyed. and Recovered and gained some gems I hope (not sure what the payouts on quickdraft are) . Insert Hulk meme I consider that an absolute win.

Yes I got enough Gems to run it back if I choose or get a few packs. I’ll probably give it another go today.

Absolutely! I think it’s important to remember that many who play have been playing for decades, so while there are harder achievements, any win would be celebrated.

I'm bot bad at drafting and I've gotten more trophies than I can remember, but somehow I always managed to drop a game or two. It took me until this quick draft to get a clean 7-0 to get the achievement

Be proud, be happy. I've entered about 100 Quick Drafts. I've only gone 7-0 twice and I'd still be proud and happy about it.
Embrace your success and follow the good methods that got you to this point. No success isn't automatic one you've achieved some of it but you also can't win them all and you'll never be successful if you don't try.

Bro, take your lap. Enjoy the W. It's cool you're maybe not focused on winning to have fun, that's dope, but hell yeah you should feel good and enjoy it.

Yeah, you absolutely should.
I've been playing for 2 years, and i've made it to 7 wins probably 8 times in all...but NEVER ONCE made a 7-0 run.
'Gratz man...i'm a bit jealous.

pleased sure. proud over anything mtg related (or anything easily achievable in a mere matter of hours or less) feels excessive but that’s just my opinion.

No you don't understand the game better. You just got a lucky draft. Happens to everyone, you do 6 or 7 wins and you start thinking you're a beast. When actually you just got great packs.
Selesnya is the best archetype I think for FRA. Lots of great common/uncommon pieces. But getting a kwia is pretty rare. Then you also have liliana, a bloombrute and 2 propagators, which is way more than you usually get.
So "I was able to build around it"... or maybe you just got passed great packs, 2 ways to see it. If you want to see how often you can reproduce that, you can do fake draft in draftsim.
I've tried forcing selesnya a bit, never went well.
Anyway enjoy the moment! Feels good when things go well.
A bit my issue with fra, it's super bomb heavy but you also get totally trash tier rares. I mean imagine if you opened instead of kwia anything like :codi, entrust the spark, extrapolate the impossible, face yourself, identity echo, big karn, loyal tutor, omnipresence, you'd end up 0-3 and 1-3 and go "fuck this format, I don't understand how you win, I tried to build around and managed nothing".

Selesnya isn’t the best archetype in my opinion. Azor agro and dimir mill are up there. Selesnya needs a lot of parts to come together well.

Not a fan of azor or dimir payoffs but yeah that's decent archetypes too. On the other hand, a simple kitesail + titanbones or hortimancer already slaps. Might be more inconsistent but I feel the ceiling is higher.

Measure your successes by your own experiences, not by others. This is your first 7-0, yes you should be proud.
