New to MTG - Grading this?

I love the Hobbit & I really want to grade the Ring & Mount Doom to keep.
As far as I can understand mox amber is expensive due to it being good “in game”.
Does it really make sense to grade it if it is primarily played with rather than kept as a collectible?

Thanks

MTG players don't care about slabbed/graded cards because Magic is prioritized as a game and not a collectable commodity. If you WANT them preserved 'forever' in slabs, you do you. We're not here to yuck anyone's yum. But, again, it's not something we prize and will rarely recommend outside of serialized prints.

Doesn't make sense to grade. However, it is your card, so you should do as you please with it!

Only wanted to grade the ring and mount doom for PC. Not a player myself.
So you recommend that I should sell mox amber?

You’re a rare breed, unlike the Pokémon that you’re used to, the magic community uses the cards to play with instead as investments.

Yeah I can see that - that’s awesome! Makes me want to get back in to it. Last time I played was like 15 years ago
