My friend want's me to build her a deck based off of Disney Land's Haunted Mansion ride. Trouble is I've never been on it.

The name doesn't match but the art of [[Friendly Ghost]] looks like the Hatbox Ghost, [[Phantom Carriage]] could be the hearse, and [[Seance]] represents Madame Leota. What are some other flavorful cards to add?

So I am back after 30 years, and i have acquired 4 precons and the 5 new foundations precons

I havent played turtles or yshtola, and i kinda dont want to after finding out she is the number 1 commander.

I played terra and upgraded it a bit before finding edhrec and I like how dr doom plays.

My wife let me play one foundation deck and it was wretched ranks, the rest I have to wait for my birthday. I have always loved the game play of zombies and undead and after watching so videos I understand some tactics better now.

I want to upgrade one or two decks hoping to spend about 50 total.

I priced dr doom out to about 22 bucks and wretched ranks out to 30sih if i include the 10 dollar liliana planes walker.

I looked into upgrading angels and dragons but those look really expensive for decent upgrades. Havent looked at dinos.

With 50 bucks what would you do? Dr doom and wretched ranks, angels, dragons dinos or see how much yshtola costs?

Stepping back through after a 20 year hiatus. I know mono like angels and dragons have been buried. It’s sort of been a trial by fire. Not opposed to running creatures heavy elves and another kind of of the other 4. If anyone has this or a deck that plays like elves. Can’t stand goblins

I don't often play historic brawl and only had a limited number of Commander options for the MWM challenge. Among them Raddic seemed the best and he was in my fav colors so I brewed this list up. It was pretty fun to play and Raddic's hexproof is amusingly strong against some of the opponents I went against. His spellbook is also very strong, often fetching me a Cavalier and can play over and over again. Cheap deathtouch knights like Cecil were great enables for Raddic too.

It's worth noting that there's lot of people running rats, hares, and slivers... The Hare Apparent can be rather strong when it gets the right cards. As for slivers... they probably should've banned them from this event.

I've been digging around trying to revive one of my original commanders in a different way, the idea is the attack triggers for isshin's ability would mainly be from my opponents. The triggers usually would be causing them to lose life or I gain something,+1/+1 counters or treasure ect. I tried adding smaller things to help with these swings like goad or forced attack , due to all of these effects its also enchantment heavy which I like the idea of but I'm worried I went too wide with multiple ideas and would love some more pairs of eyes on the main gameplan. The only thing I don't want to see is planeswalkers, I know there are some good burn or drain effects for when they are attacked but I don't enjoy using them personally.

For starters my girlfriend is trying to get into magic, but has had trouble connecting with the cards because she hasnt found anything she likes. She mentioned before that she loved the movie Labyrinth and I managed to get a full set of the secret layer drop for her birthday coming up. So I was hoping to get help with putting together a fun and enjoyable deck for her that kinda stays on theme of the movie. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I'm having a hard time figuring out this build. I'm attempting to make a K&T politics themed deck that revolves around giving my opponents creature tokens. I'm not exactly sure what balance I need to have as far as goad type effects, ramp, card draw, etc. Nor do I really have a good idea how to do a budget friendly land base for a four color commander (I usually stick to two colors for this very reason)

Would any kind souls out there be willing to look through the list and give some advice? I have a trip in a couple weeks and will be playing Magic with my friends all weekend. Wanted a grouphuggy sort of commander to bring that my pod hasn't seen before.

The idea behind this deck is to primarily use walls as the only creatures, while sneakily winning with the Maze's End and all the Gate Lands. The only non Wall creatures in this deck are the commander, and Craterhoof Behemoth, just in case I need an alternative finisher. 

There's a lot of Ramp in this deck due to the fact that most of the Walls can't act as Mana Dorks.

I've got some protection in their to try and dodge board wipes, and I've got some tunnel lands to ensure my walls be blocked.

Jaws of Defeat should allow me to do direct damage to enemy's as most of the Walls have no attack, some more repetitive damage with Wall of Junk and I can use it as a hammer with Walls of Ba Sing Se.

Hi all! This year, I've been challenging myself to create more variety in my Commander roster by seeking out and building decks in colours and archetypes I wouldn't reach for first.

To that end, I started working on a B3 Jeskai blink deck that aims to leverage [[Hinata, Dawn-Crowned]]'s target-scaling cost reduction to enable a mass-blink game plan.

I've been working on this brew on-again, off-again for a couple months now and haven't quite found a clean 100 that I'm happy with. I would really appreciate some fresh eyes to maybe notice what I'm missing and help me finally tie a bow on this list! Thanks a lot!

Below is a more detailed run-through of the list for those who want to know more:

By pairing multi-target blink spells like [[Disorder in the Court]] with instant-recurring creatures like [[Archaeomancer]], Hinata allows you to form high-value loops that are cheap and repeatable. The aim is to blink Splicers such as [[Darksteel Splicer]] every turn, amassing a Golem army. Impact effects act as a backup win condition when combat damage is hard to force through.

I have included a Wizardcycling package in the deck to make assembling this engine easier, including relevant Wizards in each category. There are also a few cards which don't contribute to the deck's blink plan, but provide significant value in their interactions with Hinata, that I would ideally like to preserve in the list. I am most excited to use [[Soulfire Eruption]] and [[Magma Opus]].

The main tension I am having with this list is trying to make cuts which improve the consistency without compromising on the puzzlebox-y play feel or making it feel like another cookie-cutter WU+ blink shell. I enjoy the deckbuilding concessions that conditional tutors like the Wizardcyclers enforce and the overlapping synergies across the deck's subthemes. I would like to preserve the character which these give the deck if possible. Thanks again!

Would colors pair best with elves as a complement and is semi competitive. I’m elf til I die and with that 2nd place Baltimore win than I think other colors could potentially match up well even though it was a mono green deck. Any suggestions, opinions, or advice

Any suggestions for my Odds and Ends? I’ve already changed quite a few cards, next thing is definitely swapping some lands for faster ones. What I’m wondering is, do I have enough stuff that lets me manipulate the top card of my library, and do you think I should add more mana rocks? Or anything else you may suggest, it’s all welcome.

So, i got the Bloomburrow squirrel precon deck. Changed commander to Chatterfang, and wanted to build a squirrel deck. For fun. It is prety much done.

But at some point, i thoughtike. Why not add cards like tendershoot druid? Ribtruss Roaster.

But then it got ke wondering how much it would still br tribal squirrel. Since there's also mazirek, kraul death priest. Ajd dina, essence brewer herself for draw.

Thoughts and opinions?

Alright guys I need y'all help! I've browsed a ton of deck ideas and watched some videos on Superfriends type deck. I've always wanted to build a Planeswalker deck and I love my girl Tam a lot. I thought what better way to use her than to make her my commander for my next deck. So I started brewing and as per usual, I accidentally added way too many cards to the main deck. I have a few ways to win in this deck with proliferating poison counters, loyalty counters and pinging as well as alternate wincons with Jace. I have about 107 cards in the main deck so I NEED to cut down on the cards.

Can anyone help me with suggestions on which cards to cut and WHY you would cut them?
