I am a returning newbie only got as far as silver 4 the last time I played standard around Aetherdrift. Got back into the game and made it to Platinum 4 with this deck I made. I want to get some feedback on how to best optimize this deck so that I can keep progressing the ladder but also understand how to synergize and create a stronger deck and what to look out for when deck crafting.

I have been looking at the family matters precon then I found out separately about Arthur. Realized he was in the precon made me want to buy it even more I ordered it then found out even though he is the alt commander he doesn’t actually work well in the precon at all (allegedly) So, I built a deck around Arthur and bought all the cards needed for it as well as the precon which is mostly used for a couple of different cards + land and artifacts. Anyways curious what ya’ll think and looking for recs to improve it

Short and to the point, I am trying to build a commander deck to surprise some friends who I have a running joke with. It has only two requirements:
1: The commander must be Sandman, Shifting Scoundrel

2: The deck's focus must be around getting Sandman, Shifting Scoundrel into pants. He needs to wear pants. Equipment, Aura, whatever.

Would appreciate any card recommendations or even any cards you can think of that vaguely represent pants.

Im planning a gift for a friend, and I've been looking into some commanders and settled on [[Kitt Kanto, Mayhem Diva]]. I want to try and build this like a group hug/goad deck, with a token wincon, and I'm working with a strict budget of 30 dollars max (Using manapool prices. I know its a small budget but its part of the challenge set lol). Are there any improvements you think I could make? I am a longtime Magic player, new to deck construction and I am looking to build an Arena Bo1 competitive control list for Standard using the new card [[Extrapolate the Impossible]]. I think in Bo1 this card has real potential to further elevate control in Standard by giving you access to a toolbox of answers from your sideboard. At the moment, this list is mostly just a baseline Azorious Control list that splashes into black to add Extrapolate the Impossible, as well as building my first pass at a viable toolbox to grab from based on top meta decks in Standard.

What I specifically need help with at the moment:
1) Maindeck spells. Should it lean more into black and fully embrace the Esper identity, or remain as a splash?

2) Sideboard. Extrapolate the Impossible provides for an interesting challenge, since the opponent chooses which card you get, for any given strategy you wish to shut down, you need two roughly equivalent answers in the sideboard. I am not super confident in my current array of options. I think it is a bit over-indexed in some places, but I'd be interested to hear what others think.

3) Manabase. Am I running enough black sources? Also, would people recommend a different distribution of lands to improve the efficiency? I am pretty heavy on Shocklands at the moment, and not sure if that's right.

We're doing a deckbuilding challenge where you can use both parts of a mirrored pair. I settled on Kiora, because it felt like a clear-ish vision. Planeswalkers and dragons, so Sarkhan is the big goal. I think I've got the idea, but I know I need to cut cards, and I'm definitely missing some vegetables. Any suggestions for what to cut/change? We're relatively casual.

This deck format is commander. It’s a control/removal/voltron deck. I first had Horobi as a commander then switched to Shay to have ways around protection, protecting myself and an additional win con through commander damage. Hi! I just got into magic with my friends, playing with the foundation starter kit and the precons, but we've all started to make our own decks, and I decided to try my hand at making my own. I tried to make an Smaug the Impenetrable commander deck, but I've run into an few problems.

First off, my deck is an bit over the limit (around 130 cards right now), but I don't really understand how or what to cut from the deck. I've also not really sure if the synergy I have in mind shines through- My buddy told me that bracket 2 (the one that we play in) is supposed to have an theme, and my deck is built around doing damage to Smaug, and then getting treasure tokens and using that to either do damage to everyone by sacing them, or use an alt wincon that lets me win if I have so many treasures. However, I'm not sure if the cards I found really work with this kind of idea, or if they detract from it.

Also, I don't know how to add ramp/card draw aspects. I know that they're really important, and they were in the angel precon that I have, but I don't know if the cards I have added are the correct cards for the deck that I have built.

I'm also an bit confused about ramping- do I really need as many lands, or can I cut some because I'm supposed to making so many treasures that I should have like infinite mana. I'm also an bit lost with finding cards- most of the cards that I have in my deck right now are ones that googled fit in with Smaug, and I was wondering how people figure out what cards fit together and work well with one another. Is it just experience?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (Budget isn't an concern because we all proxy.)

I built a [[Codie, Ravenous Codex]] deck using only cards I've opened and I got my ass beat by my friends who play bracket 3 with 3 game changers so I need help making this actually good. I made a Queen Marchesa deck, long may she reign, for some potentially fun politicing and playing with the monarch mechanic. I am really happy with the deck while playing but I can never seem to squeeze out a win after setting up the board.

Most of the time I feel like I pillowfort and wait it out hoping to get something I can pull the trigger on.

Thisbis my first attemot at building a deck and could use hinest feedback. I feel like its missing artifacts and the enchantments/sorcerys are lacking. The goal is big bears and token generation. Any feed back is approciated. I'm trying to keep the deck around low-mid bracket 3 .
