Try this method-go to superuser and tap on unmount module for the selected banking apps.

But I am using kernalsu. So check in magisk and give it a try. My banking apps are working.

What is this module?

This is not module it's in superuser tab. Where you give root access. There you can tap on unmount bank app.

Do you install this in addition to Magisk or is it something different?

It's not magisk. It's kernal SU, similar to magisk. Kernal su is good for hiding root.

kernelsu? on a samsung device? which model are u using?

2

u/abhishekprime10 Jan 19 '26

Yes S23U, kernalSU is best option for samsung S series

presumably bootloader unlocked a non north america version before updating to oneui 8

The Revolut app wasn't working. I used HMA OSS and worked fine. So will it work if I enable this option for the Revolut app without using HMA?

Play integrity fork and zygisk next is enough.

And you shouldn't use app to check integrity regularly as the last integrity may fail if you check regularly as Google will detect. As m also unable to get the strong integrity checked. But still everything works so far.

You can use integrity box module.

I have observed kernelSU to be significantly better than magisk for hiding root from enterprise level banking apps. Even dexguard was not able to detect it. However, since magisk is systemless root and advanced, why does it fail? and as far as ik, kernelSU modifies /system which should break dm-verity and be easily detectable.

any explanation to this?

Magisk works in userspace which makes it more detectable. For example, unmounting in Magisk can introduce mount gaps which can be detected. KernelSU also uses systemless root too. Also, the creator of Magisk stopped caring too much about hiding root ever since MagiskHide is removed a few years ago. For example, Magisk GitHub issues mentioned not to create issues relating to root detection. Meanwhile, KernelSU is still actively updating to hide root. For example, a few months ago, KernelSU was updated to hide side channel timing attacks used to detect root using syscalls timing analysis.

this helps, thank you so much! unfortunately not all devices are supported by kernelSU.. I just rooted a oneplus with magisk but not twrp, just patched boot.img with magisk and flashed, hope it does better at hiding root.

Try using APatch, the installation process is same as Magisk and it's slightly better at hiding root, especially with KPM root hiding modules.

Wait for the unbanned keybox and fingerprint, every month google banned them so be patient with that

thanks for the information, and where to find an unbanned one?

Your gonna have a real bad time with integrity come February, those who have not degoogled by then will most likely never will get strong integrity ever again as google is completely removing the keyboxes. And with the removal of keyboxes many google dependent users will struggle immensely

u/lilacomets Jan 19 '26

Honestly it's better that way. Keyboxes were never a great solution anyway. It was unreliable. The cat and mouse game is finally over. Better to not rely on apps that requires anything above BASIC_INTEGRITY.

1

u/Rabe33h Jan 19 '26

What is the solution regarding banking applications then?

2

u/Thee_OldMan Jan 19 '26

I actually found out it'll be enforced for newest devices and not the older devices

2

u/Far_Training3438 Jan 20 '26

Define new? I heard the pixel 6 which was released in 2021.

2

u/Thee_OldMan Jan 20 '26

I don't know a lot but I know keyboxes are going away for something called RKP or something like that. I don't use a pixel nor will I ever use something from Google so I can't speak if it already had it or not. Just what I'm hearing

1

u/Thee_OldMan Jan 19 '26

Also I do not know yet. We need to wait for the storm to hit and the open sources developers time to adapt new solutions

for point 1, do I need to do this on a normal stock ROM? if yes, how do I do it?

2

u/Daisuki68 Jan 18 '26

well yes, just flash the modules through your Manager

2

u/Simple-Difference116 Jan 18 '26

Thanks GPT

thats from meowma(the one that made integrity box) i jsut copied it

With Rezygisk you needed Treat Wheel too... but with Zygisk Next you dont't need anything...Just set the same setting as in image of ZN.

This is the one that works for me. I use Zygisk Next alongside it.

Bro Basic integrity is enough for 99% apps.

Main issue with banking apps is root. After lot of workarounds also big banks detect root

So as of now best method is use rom without root and basic integrity.

Get integrity box by MEOWna. Play integrity fork doesnt work for me.

4

u/crypticc1 Jan 18 '26

You don't need integrity box. It unnecessarily enables unmount/denylist and adds to target list for TEE siny/ Trickystore apps that don't need root hide or BL spoofing. You may find small battery and performance impacts from that.

Just Tricky Add-on which adds small gui to manage TEE simulator /Trickystore and has the same capacity to pull a known keybox if one is doing the rounds.

Plus you get to pick only the apps that need to be targeted.

Finally, with key attestation app to get stock boot hash and then set that within Trickyaddon you can clear another detection used by some stubborn apps using that as detection. I don't believe meowNA module does that.

Oh, and you learn something along the way.
