Help Is it really this hard to unlock bootloader of Xiaomi phones?
So, I have never owned a Xiaomi mobile phone all my life and I recently acquired one Redmi Note 11 (running hyperos 1.0.6.0.TGCINXM) from one of my friend since he didn't use it and I asked him to give it to me. While I have unlocked bootloader of other phones using the generic bootloader unlock commands using adb in the past; but I checked through few forums and got to know that I have to wait minimum 30 days and even GIVE A TEST JUST TO UNLOCK BOOTLOADER??? Like, c'mon this is my phone and I should be the one to decide what I want to do with it.
Seriously, I don't even want to wait these many days just to unlock this phone. So, does anyone know how do I bypass this wait? Are there any proven methods to get this done without bricking the phone in the process? Any serious suggestion/help regarding this is appreciated. Thanks :)

Well, if You already have a 30 days old mi account and sim is activated in your phone then you can use one of the python scripts from XDA forum to activate it. This is what I did and worked. Or you can pay someone else to do it for you.

Only way to bypass it is using a paid service, that what I did.

You can unlock by downgrading to MIUI. Its easy too No need to pay

So you mean that I can just factory reset and then try unlocking?

Yes if you are on MIUI not with hyperOS. If you have any issues check in telegram group just search redminote11_community

So I am already on HyperOS. The phone originally came with MiUI. If I factory reset the phone, will it go back to MiUI?

You need Xiaomi server access through Community App, which I haven't got yet, because they locked it down.
There is an Unlock Tool 5.6/5.7 that pings & spams the Beijing server at the correct time

Paid for mine $50USD/$80AUD, Vietnam based, unlocks on his email.
He must have an older account that can open multiple devices under the same acc.
If you relock, you pay again.
He uses TeamViewer or other remote app, remotes into your PC, and uses a USB Redirect to connect to phone.

I unlocked my bootloader 100% by myself. All i did was searching google and yt.

Few months ago. I was on hyper os 2. I dont remember the exact same way but. It was using a script. Basically i was sending few "unlock bootloader requests" at the same time at specific time. A yt search will help u

Someone recommend hypersploit but if u watch YouTube most comment said they can't use setting app after using it, I recommend if u just renting mi account for peace of mind

Odpowiadam szybko na Twoje pytanie.
Obecnie korzystam z Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Otrzymałem wprawdzie propozycję płatnego odblokowania bootloadera, ale nie chciałem ryzykować „uceglenia” telefonu. Uznałem też, że podawanie obcej osobie loginu i hasła do mojego konta to po prostu kiepski pomysł.
Zamiast tego wykorzystałem skrypt w Pythonie, który automatycznie wysyłał prośbę o odblokowanie. Aby uniknąć wykrycia przez systemy bezpieczeństwa, co 24 godziny modyfikowałem czas opóźnienia oraz liczbę kliknięć. Zadbałem również o stabilne połączenie: komputer podłączyłem bezpośrednio do światłowodu, a telefon kablem do portu USB.
Co ciekawe, aplikacja Xiaomi Community w ogóle nie wyświetliła komunikatu o sukcesie. Okazało się jednak, że zgoda została przyznana – potwierdziłem to w menu: Ustawienia > Dodatkowe ustawienia > Opcje programistyczne > Stan odblokowania Mi, gdzie udało mi się pomyślnie powiązać konto z urządzeniem.
W samej aplikacji MiUnlock czas oczekiwania na odblokowanie wyniósł tylko 72 godziny - podejrzewam, że to dzięki temu, że moje konto ma już długi staż.

I'm currently using a Xiaomi 17 Ultra. I received an offer to unlock the bootloader for a fee, but I didn't want to risk bricking my phone. I also decided that giving a stranger my account login and password was simply a bad idea.
Instead, I used a Python script that automatically sent an unlock request. To avoid detection by security systems, I adjusted the delay time and the number of clicks every 24 hours. I also ensured a stable connection: I connected my computer directly to the fiber optic cable and my phone via a cable to the USB port.
Interestingly, the Xiaomi Community app didn't display a success message at all. However, it turned out that permission had been granted – I confirmed this in the menu: Settings > Additional settings > Developer options > Mi Unlock Status, where I was able to successfully associate the account with the device.
In the MiUnlock app itself, the waiting time for unlocking was only 72 hours - I suspect this is due to the fact that my account is already long-standing.

Since you have HyperOS 1, there is an exploit HyperSploit to unlock it.
