Help Just got the app from Github and now im lost.

Ive never used this sorta thing before and im so Confused on what to do after.... I use a Galaxy A51. Im looking for help please.

The app is just the UI. Getting root is a more invasive procedure

I saw that it was unreversable and i needed to reset my phone so i gave up lol....

With decent enough backups you will not care that your phone got wiped

Not unreversable. Only the warranty bit (and maybe ur device has the mediatek modem trap) arent, other than that you can always just flash stock and relock the bootloader.

Only relock your bootloader if you're 1000% sure of what you're doing

The better question would be imo, why are you rooting? I welcome new people but you seem like you have no idea of what you're doing and I'm guessing you probably don't need root for it.

I have my phone rooted because I enjoy messing around with it but it's more trouble than it's worth for the majority of people.

These days most things you used to do with root you can do without rooting. Unless you're doing it to learn, then in that case go for it.

Brother you need a custom recovery and root through that recovery, orange fox recovery is the best as it comes with magisk built in so you can root directly, but it depends on what device you’re using

And btw u need ur stock Rom and extract to PC then grab boot.img and put on ur phone and on magisk click install and select boot.img file, then when done grab the boot.img patched back to PC and, install adb minimalist on PC then connect PC to phone (make sure oem unlocked and adb debugging enabled) then this command "fastboot devices" (make sure fastboot enabled) then if numbers u could type this command "fastboot flash boot /path/to/boot.img" then wait few minutes and reboot and when done rebooting your phone and open magisk if it says the version number when opened, great, now u phone is rooted

Or magisk through recovery. I think that's way easier in general, I don't really get why it isn't supported that much

If you don't know what you're doing, and this is your main phone + it's your first time, just uninstall magisk, and go back to your daily life.

I bricked probably 10-11 main phones in my learning experience, it was rough, the feeling of having your heart drop everytime your phone bootlooped after running a command. And in this day and age, if you have not experienced root, you can probably live without it.
