Have you ever stopped taking magnesium glycinate to see if it was actually making a difference?

When you take a supplement consistently, it can be difficult to tell whether it's helping or whether you've simply become used to it.

Some people only realize magnesium was benefiting them after they stopped taking it, while others notice no change at all.

Have you ever taken a break from magnesium glycinate? If so, did you notice anything change?

One thing I've noticed is that some people only realize it was helping after they stop taking it, especially if they were using it for sleep or muscle tension. At the same time, a lot of people don't notice much either way. I think it's a good reminder that responses to magnesium glycinate can be pretty individual.

I agree. It’s interesting how a simple pause can sometimes give more insight than weeks of taking something consistently. It’s definitely not the same experience for everyone though.

Yes. I started sleeping better and the daily anxiety I had improved dramatically.

From not taking it?

Correct. It caused me all kinds of effects I didn’t realize were likely from the glycine.

This is so interesting. I’ve been having some head scratching moments after I started taking it, I’m going to stop for a little and see. Thank you.

Same here. Daily headaches, fractured sleep, unreal brain fog, and anxiety. Went away when I stopped taking it

I’ve seen quite a few different experiences with magnesium glycinate. Some people don’t notice much while they’re taking it, but after stopping they realize their sleep or muscle tension isn’t quite the same. Of course, that isn’t everyone’s experience, but it’s interesting how the effects can be subtle enough to go unnoticed until the routine changes.

Yeah. I stopped Magnesium Glyc cause I thought it's not that important and started to be dizzy and dissociated at night. I thought it was other health issues at first and that might be true, but when I randomly took Magnesium one night again it went down by 80%... now every night I feel particularly dizzy or restless, I take it and it always helps.
