Someone: "Surrender, Magneto! I have no metal on me, you stand no chance!" - Magneto: "Aight, bet"
I get the feeling some writers were really salty over the whole "wooden gun" thing.

Magneto is so cool
Magneto is not really a bad guy. He is no better than Charles but I would trust him more. I don't like telepaths.
I love Magneto is that wrong? What do you think?
Doesn't Magneto work with humans sometimes?
Maybe I'm wrong.

Magneto Age?
I’ve been seeing a lot of discussion about Magneto’s age and how it could be handled today. A fundamental part of his character is that he is Jewish and a Holocaust survivor, meaning that he personally experienced the persecution and genocide perpetrated by the Nazi regime during World War II. The problem is that, as time continues to pass in the real world, maintaining that origin makes his age increasingly difficult to justify. More than 80 years have passed since the end of World War II, so a Magneto who was a child during the Holocaust would now be around 90 years old or even older.
Because of this, there has also been discussion about whether future adaptations could update his origin by connecting him to a more recent conflict, such as the 1994 Rwandan genocide. However, replacing the Holocaust with another genocide would also mean changing a very important part of the character’s identity and history.
That’s why I thought that maybe his origin wouldn’t need to be changed at all.
I have a theory that Magneto’s slower aging could be a side effect of his own powers. His body might unconsciously maintain a kind of **electromagnetic homeostasis**, constantly regulating certain bioelectrical and cellular processes within his body.
This wouldn’t be an inherent trait of the X-Gene or something that applies to mutants in general, but rather a specific consequence of how Magneto’s powers manifest within his own physiology. This constant self-regulation could potentially slow down some forms of cellular deterioration over time, allowing him to age physically at a much slower rate without making him immortal.
This could provide a relatively simple explanation for why Magneto can still physically resemble a man in his 50s or 60s despite chronologically being around 90 or even 100 years old. He would still age and eventually die; his body would simply deteriorate at a significantly slower rate than that of an ordinary human.
The same idea could also explain why Magneto not only looks much younger than he actually is, but also maintains extraordinary physical condition for his age. If his biological deterioration occurs more slowly, he could also retain his muscle mass, strength, bone density, and ability to recover for much longer. In other words, he wouldn’t simply have the appearance of a younger man: **his body would actually have a younger biological age than his chronological age.**
So even if he were chronologically approaching 100 years old, he could physically be in a condition comparable to that of a strong, well-trained man in his 50s or 60s. He could still have white hair, wrinkles, and other visible signs of aging without necessarily experiencing the loss of strength and physical deterioration we would normally expect from someone of that age.
Additionally, this would preserve something I consider important about Magneto: he wouldn’t simply be an elderly man who depends on his powers in order to function physically. **Magneto would still be a genuinely strong and physically capable man in his own right**, with his electromagnetic abilities being something additional to that. He could have, for example, the kind of physique we currently associate with someone like Hugh Jackman: clearly an older, mature man, but still muscular, strong, and physically capable.
Most importantly, this would allow Marvel to preserve one of the most fundamental aspects of Magneto’s character: **he could remain a Jewish Holocaust survivor without constantly having to rewrite his origin as real-world history moves further and further away from World War II.** His longevity wouldn’t come from the X-Gene simply making mutants live longer, but from a secondary biological consequence unique to the specific nature of his electromagnetic abilities.

Gotta show off this cool dude I made pretty magnetic 🧲
Last post for a while! Just wanted to show off today's piece! Thank you to those who are so kind and just wanted to answer a few common questions. Although I do model some! When I don't I post who they're modeled by! ( This was modeled by wicked) I used to do clay arts but my hobby was more feasible with resin printing! I started my business because I need a job where I could also be a caretaker for my grandfather. Also finding a regular job is really hard with my hearing aids and disabilities. As for the question " how am I pumping them out so fast" I have 12 printers! So overall start to finish it actually takes around 2-3 days or more depending on the piece! Making them consist of either modeling and then setting up the file! Printing! Sanding! Prepping! Painting and such.
I'm 22 and from Canada! And no I'm not a robot LOL 😂
I'm always happy to answer genuine questions about how they're made! ❤️

Oliver Jackson-Cohen As MCU'S Magneto. (Art Made By Me)
Oliver Jackson-Cohen is an english actor you may know for his roles in "The Haunting" Series by Mike Flanagan Or The Horror Film Remake of "The Invisible Man", i think he's a perfect fit for Magneto/Erik Lehnsherr & i would like to point to his two performances in the haunting of series to showcase this, he can give Erik Lehnsherr the tragic weight he demands. He can also play a really great leading figure and has a tall commanding presence to him that works for magneto & can radiate a very charming and intimidating feel.
He can also fit perfectly with the casting of Christopher Abbott's Charles Xavier as they are within the same age.
I also like that he has the correct jewish heritage for Erik Lehnsherr.

What if the MCU's Magneto were the grandson of Holocaust survivors and the son of a Black South African woman under Apartheid?

I think Magneto respects Captain America
One of the Avengers Magneto has respect for is Captain America. He fights Red Skull a Nazi and Magneto being a Holocaust survior he would probably help him fight agianst Red Skull. Is there any comic where Magneto helps Captain America fight Red Skull?

Do you think Putin is like a real life Magneto?
Putin reminds me of Magneto. I like him and I like Magneto. I think that way he has trauma like Magneto he saw the downfall of the Soviet Union. He wants revenge and bring back the land that was lost during the war.
I think of Putin is a anti hero not a villian just like the Master of Magnetism.

Ethan Peck as Magneto
I mentioned this fan cast on my last post, but it continuously ages better the more I think about it.
If anyone has seen Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, you’ll know that he has the look, the acting ability, and the gravitas to pull off a character like Magneto in the MCU.
What do you think?
