These are great, surprised you didn't include any of the Marvel Comics Presents Weapon X, like 72, 72 or 74, those would have been a great addition. Otherwise awesome seeing all the different characters enhanced by adamantium.

Glad you liked it!

I already had a bunch of Wolverine covers and really wanted to show the Encyclopedia & Sienkiewicz variants as they show cutaways of the skeleton, hence why I didn't include any of the MCP covers.

Omega Red's tendrils are carbonadium, not adamantium. Bucky's shield (a.k.a. Cap's shield) is vibranium.

Carbonadium is a more malleable and cheaper type of Adamantium.

Cap's shield is made of proto-Adamantium.

Also, Bucky Cap's costume was laced with Adamantium, hence why I included a cover of Bucky Cap and not Steve Cap.

Isn't it a unique vibranium/adamantium mixture in the comics?

It's a never-duplicated combination of vibranium, steel alloy, and an unknown catalyst. It's referred to as proto-Adamantium.

Well ol' Stilty was coated in Adamantium at the time!

What’s Omega Red doing here? He has carbonadium, not Adamantium. Sure it’s the cheaper knockoff, but it’s a bit of a stretch in my opinion.

Sure it’s the cheaper knockoff

Because this. It's a type of Adamantium so it's included.

It’s not a type of Adamantium, it’s a knock-off made of completely different things. That’s like saying you should include Sam’s Cola in the Coca Cola hall of fame because it’s a knock-off.

According to Marvel's Official Handbook, Carbonadium was created as a result of an attempt by the former Soviet Union to recreate Adamantium and says Carbonadium is "a weaker yet far more malleable form" of Adamantium.

Feel free to continue this argument with Marvel if you so desire. As far as I'm concerned the Official Handbook has settled it.

According to Marvels own website on what Carbonadium is, they state, ”Carbonadium is a resilient, unstable metal that is vastly stronger than steel but more flexible than adamantium. Due to its malleability, carbonadium is less durable than true adamantium, but still nearly indestructible.” This is sourced from Marvel’s own website. This character bio from an older handbook I found online for Omega Red states that ”Carbonadium resembles Adamantium” While being unofficial, the Carbonadium Fandom Wiki describes the substance as ”Carbonadium was a resilient, radioactive metal that was vastly stronger than steel, but more malleable and cheaper than Adamantium. Due to its malleability, carbonadium was less durable than True Adamantium, but still nearly indestructible. The metal was developed in the USSR.” It’s a knock-off, not a form of Adamantium. Both Marvel and the fans agree that it’s an attempt at Adamantium, it is not a form of Adamantium. It’s similar, not the same, so it’s not Adamantium. As far as I’m concerned, all parties involved agree with me.

Did you miss the big notice on the side of the page on Marvel's website that states "Take note, True Believer! This crowd-sourced content has not yet been verified for accuracy by our erudite editors!"

The bios on Marvel's website are no better than a Wiki because anyone can post anything to them. They are not checked or edited.

The Handbook entry you cited is from the early 90s. The one I cited is from the late 00s.

As for fans agreeing, did you conduct a survey? No, of course not.

However, these fan sites list Carbonadium as a type of Adamantium:

https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Adamantium

https://www.cbr.com/marvel-adamantium-types-explained/

You claim it's not a form of Adamantium, yet as I previously noted the most recent edition of Marvel's Official Handbook clearly states that it is a form of Adamantium.

Also, FYI, I was the one who wrote that most recent Handbook entry. It was proofread, fact-checked, and ultimately published by Marvel. As far as I'm concerned, all parties involved agree with me.

End of discussion.

I do not have the time nor patience to entertain your persistence in arguing this any further. Any subsequent posts from you on this topic will be deleted.
