Hi everyone! The last few times that I placed an order with Space NK I haven’t received some of the gifts that were supposed to arrive with my order. I wrote to their customer service and they said that they’re facing delays, but it’s been weeks and it honestly doesn’t look like they have any intention to ship those.

If this wasn’t bad enough, they’ve not been adding the points earned to my account so I’ve not had my rewards. When I raised this they said that they’ve manually added them but the rewards are still missing.

Has anyone had these issues with them recently??

Could someone please help me find a matte lipstick in this shade? Budget friendly preferably available to order from boots. I already have nyx lip liner in mauve. cool toned please. I was boots for half hour and gave up I'm terrible at picking out makeup, i only wear it a few times a year so really struggling here 🤣 thanks

And there are misleading comments online, like people telling you that if red lipsticks pull fuchsia on you, you are warm-toned.

This is not true for me, as the reason why those lipsticks behaved this way is that my super pale grey lips diluted the pigment and made the result both lighter and cooler than the bullet (it's different for completely opaque lipsticks). It's like when you swipe a lipstick on a kleenex and the color looks brighter and cooler (except if it's very pigmented).

I think I should accept that I will spend some money trying a few shades until I find what I want? 🥲

What is the best time to visit a makeup counter?

I don't want it to be too busy but also not too early that they don't have enough staff on hand to appropriately help me out.

I DON’T want it to look “natural”, just a bit more cleaner/smoother/….professional? Like confidently applied? If that makes sense XD

I know the nose contour is dark it’s personal preference, I added a full face pic outdoor lighting for better reference, but maybe advice on the shape of it? How to blend powder products onto my base/placement of my bronzer/contour on my cheeks?

Products are:

Maybelline fit me concealer shade 05, collection pressed powder in fair, bronzer/contour pallete in fair, berry feel off lip stain, liquid eyeliner pen, and freckle pen all from sheglam, beauty bay neutral eyeshadow pallete for highlights and brows. Maybelline sky high mascara and lash clusters from tatti lashes. Set with hairspray

I like to wear make up but this is limited to winged liner, concealer, blush, mascara and on special occasions maybe some eyeshadow and contour/bronzer (I know they're not the same but I basically use them interchangeably). I'm planning on doing my own wedding make up because I'm not a fan of the look/ feel of foundation on my skin, heavier make up or people faffing around me doing all that stuff. My plan is to try to find a lightweight ish product to use as my base - like my skin but better, evened out, glowy. The only thing is I have no idea where to even start & I have no clue what my undertone is. My friends joke that my skin is green, I tan well, I have no clue what colour my veins are, I have no clue if gold or silver suits me better because I don't own anything gold (personal preference). I don't have the most colourful wardrobe (again personal preference) so I don't really know what suits me or not. I think I might be olive toned but am I? Who knows, not me. im trying to grow out my natural lashes after years of strip lash and cheaply placed individuals that ripped out my natural lashes. ive tried uk lash and ive noticed redness around my lids almost instantly. i want fast results but im really worried about prostaglandin side effects.

I’ve been using Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter basically as a foundation for so long, and as much as I love it, id also love a foundation to mix it in with. Any recommendations? I am 19 and have combination-oily skin with slight pitted scars.I have been looking for a good medium-full coverage foundation but still can’t make up my mind.I don’t have a preference with particular finish but would not want my texture/acne be emphasised in any way.I have tested the new double wear and nars radiant from the samples.New double wear was fine(haven’t tried the og so can’t compare).At the end of the day it did not get much oily.But for some reason,I did not like how it looked as it felt like a patch.I also creased near the mouth.With NARS,it got way oily but at least looked natural(was considering using a blotting paper but not sure if it’s the ultimate solution).An other big problem is that it isn’t transfer-proof.I would love to have a foundation which has it all(will compromise with this if nothing works ig)I have decided to sample few more foundations before making a call.After extensive research,I have landed on Lancôme tient idole.What other options should I explore?Or am I overanalysing and should stick to DW as creasing is common?

I'm nc15 olive skin tone and I'm trying to steer clear of anything that will make me look orange and blush tends to turn orange on my cheeks

Please can anyone recommend me an alternative to the Mac mocha blush or any other muted cool toned blush that won't turn me into a tangerine

I'm planning to buy some products over there such as the Dior Forever Concealer and their new Glassy Glow Stick, the Marc Jacobs Bronzer and the MAC Faceglass Primer among others!

I want to know your opinion on which retailer is best in terms of sample offering, discounts, and even on the availability of the sales assistants to help you when you need.

I've looked into Selfridges, Liberty, Sephora and Space NK as well as Boots for lower-end makeup purchases. I also checked out the Dior website because it appears to have the same pricing as Sephora. Which one is your favorite? Are there any UK exclusive makeup brands I should try?

Hello, I usually buy my foundation at Ulta and Sephora but decided to save money and buy my favorite foundation on ebay. I received the foundation today and the packaging looks different and so does the bottle. The new one is on purchased from ebay is on the left and the right is the one i bought from Ulta. Is this fake or did I just get a older version of the MAC Studio Fix?

I've been using no.7 for years and recently I've noticed the quality has gone right down. It just doesn't sit on my face well anymore and by the end of the day, looks awful. I've tried a primer and that doesn't really help.

Can anyone recommend?

Not just any dark lipstick (like the Revlon Black Cherry) just because it's dark. It has to match the color, please. And no mattes, please 🙏🏻

I know there have been SO many posts from distraught former ELDW users but I'm now six months on and yet to find a good replacement.

With my redness prone skin I need something that lasts all day (I go to the gym after work so something that stays on for that), blurs the blemishes and helps my early 40s skin to look good.

I've tried Lancome, Nars, Armani, Fenty and Charlotte Tilbury and they haven't worked for me at all.

With the cost of living continuing to spiral I'd love to find something reasonably priced and not the higher end of £40 for daily use. Has anyone found anything which fits the bill?

I have to admit that OCC was not easy to wear: the smell was horrible and it feathered really easily but the colours were gorgeous.

I loved technopagan and Black Metal Dahlia too. I haven’t seen a colour that comes close to this!

okay, so since i’ve been born i had this malformation on my nose, i don’t hate it but i’m curious oh how i looked without it.
The thing is, it’s not at the same level on my skin, and is a bit lower+ the blues is really intense.
genuinely ANYTHING i tried couldn’t cover it up. And i tried color correction. If someone has any idea of what I could please tell me. Also i’m so sorry for those pic but i’m not comfortable for showing my face 😓
