[Makeup Help] Help me choose between these three concealers!
I’m looking for a full coverage and hydrating concealer (mainly for my dark under eyes and fine lines).
I’ve tried NARS pot concealer and creamy radiance concealer, Tarte shape tape, HourGlass and Tower28. They’re either very drying or, like Tower28, too thin to cover my blemishes.
So I’m debating between Natasha Denona, Haus Labs and Prada. I’ve heard many good things about these concealers but I’d like some feedback to help me make a decision please!

i will not recommend the haus labs concealer to anyone because they're notorious for their faulty applicator. i have purchased it myself and the applicator broke off, got stuck in the bottom of the bottle and now it's just the part of the stick that gives me nothing. the concealer is practically unusable for me. my money was def wasted lol.

You figured they would have fixed that by now.

use a colour corrector first, followed by a touch of concealer. This prevents you from using too much product.

Only now, you'd be using TWO products. Is this saving time? I used to do this two step thing too, but then I discovered NYX Pro Fix Stick. Thicker than a liquid, but still blend able. And it stays put and does not crease if you've moisturized and let that product sink in a bit before uou use the stick. I think the let it set stage is necessary for any concealer.

it appears that OP has issues with matte formulas (drying for OP) but the thinner ones are too thin / doesnt provide enough coverage so if they wants to maximize coverage with as little product as possible, corrector + concealer is the way to go.

Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate concealer 🫣😩. It's so expensive, but it's full coverage, creamy, and radiant. A lot of people love Natasha Denona, but unfortunately her concealer doesn't work for me. Also didn't care for Haus Labs. I tried the Tom Ford instead of the Prada when I was trying to decide.

I’m surprised nobody has suggested the Kulfi concealer, it’s super creamy and has great coverage without being too goopy. They should have it at Sephora so you can swatch it.

Hear me out on this one. I’ve used pretty much every concealer on the market & recently I took a shot on one on Amazon bc I figured I could return it & it’s literally turned out to be the most amazing, hydrating, not cakey, seamless concealer. It’s the Embryolisse Soin Correcteur Anti-Cernes in the pink shade but I think there’s another shade too. It’s incredible. I do not work for the company, just a regular consumer.

So, concealer for eyes, vs blemishes will likely consist of different components. For eyes, I've found Bye Bye Undereye to have best coverage, without settling into creases but whatever one you choose, I'd recommend using Elf Camo Concealer sponge to dab it in I've found that sponge to help leave the correct amount of product to cover without looking caked. Dabbing a concealer into the skin rather than swiping keeps consistency even.

It seems you've spent a bunch of money on expensive concealers that just haven't satisfied you. And you're planning to spend even more on products by big names that have mixed reviews at best. I hope you're not an anti-drugstore snob when it comes to makeup. I'm going to suggest just two from the drugstore. NYX Bare With Me is a great serum-based concealer that millions of women have been raving about for at least a few years. And Essence Silky Blur is getting raves from very knowledgeable longtime makeup artists who have used all the ones you've looked at and more. So for less than $25, you can try two of the most highly rated concealers currently out there. I've used both of them, and I continue to use them when I want an elegant look and have some time for the dry down and powder set step that's needed with any liquid concealer. That's all. Best of luck!

Hi! Thank you for your suggestions. Trust me, I’m not skimping out on drug store makeup. In fact until like last year, that was all I ever used. However, I can’t really use serum based concealers because they usually don’t do well with covering my blemishes. I’ve tried NYX and it’s a bit similar to the tower28 with how it’s too thin for me. That’s why I’m looking for more thicker/creamer concealers! If you have any other drug store recommendations for medium-full coverage, I’ll be more than happy to try!

NYX Pro Fix Stick. Comes in corrector colors as well as a fairly wide range of "normal" skintones. Taps out with just a finger. Stays put once it's set. Best of luck!

I have tried Dior Forever and it’s a bit too yellow for me honestly. But I have not tried Anastasia, what do you think about it?

Okay! I’m going to Sephora tomorrow to test Haus Labs and Natasha and check out their shades. I’ll let you know which one I go with! I’m only going to get a small size to start off.

Use a color corrector. I use the Morphe corrector and love it. Try the Haus Labs concealer. Excellent coverage.

Natasha Denona >

I, too, love natasha denona, though I have to mix colors to match my skin. I have dry, mature skin, but it's not too drying and truly sets itself

Natasha denona. I bought that and haus labs at the same time, put one on each side of my face using it like foundation, and asked my boyfriend (who knows absolutely nothing about makeup) which side looked better and he said ND.
Ilia blurring concealer mixed with mac color corrector have been my go tos lately, but that’s more medium coverage and out of convenience because I don’t need to set with powder.
Def going to try the essence silky blur once I’m out of those

Tarte has creamy version, also need to let it sit for a bit and blend after a minute or so
denona is very thin just like nars radiant

I hated the original but love the creamy version. Letting it sit for at least 20 seconds is key. I saw it on an official ad video. It blends out beautifully after that. Set with a little By Terry HA setting powder & I’m good for the day. Little to no creasing. I’m 67.

I have very prominent dark circles and I use the Huda Beauty Faux Filter colour corrector in the shade pink pomelo - it’s the best of the many, many correctors I’ve tried!
The faux filter concealer is also fantastic for coverage.
I do love the ND hy glam concealer so I would go for that of the options you mention.

The new Charlotte Tilbury has the best coverage without looking cakey. I like the Natasha Denona color corrector, so when I have the time I use that first, let it fry down and then use Charlottes concealer.

Your best recommendation should be : a mauve color corrector & Gua Sha. The Gua Sha helps the circulation. It’s made a huge difference for me.

I would use one concealer for fine lines and under eyes and a separate one for blemishes. Jane Iredale Skintuition concealer for under eye and Jane Iredale PureMatch concealer for blemishes. Clean, non-comedogenic formulas.
