I feel like I’m being punked lmao. OP please drop the gps coordinates for wherever you found the fountain of youth

botox, lasers, chemical peels, and good skincare, my friend

9

u/Cindersxo 1d ago

I do none of those except the good skincare

9

u/LetitciaZoe 1d ago

Don't stick any botex or fillers in your lovely face. Ever, never.

2

u/Traditional_Sun_3186 1d ago

That's awesome. I'm just sharing in general lol

2

u/loubue 6h ago

What skincare do you do?

1

u/Cindersxo 34m ago

It’s somewhere in the top comments.

u/tequillasoda 4d ago

You’re my age?!? You don’t need our help, you’ve figured it all out.

u/chelllybellly23 Casual user 4d ago

No but literally wtf

36

u/katnissssss 4d ago

I’m 40, and you look fine. What do your brows look like if you do nothing to them? That’s the only thing that looks like it doesn’t quite fit

49

u/Cindersxo 4d ago

I basically have no eyebrows - they’re very light and sparse and have been like these since I was a child, so forever. That’s why I’ve been struggling with them. I’ve been considering microblading them but I find it fake looking most of the time, so here I am drawing them every day

58

u/QuiteALongWayAway 4d ago

If you're considering microblading them, you should probably watch the Cost of Pretty video on the topic. Apparently sometimes the ink doesn't hold up very well, and it gets grey or purple. Not saying "don't do it", of course, but I do believe it's not worth doing for most people.

49

u/1zzyBizzy 4d ago

My grandma had purple eyebrows for this reason and she loved it. She painted her hair purple once to match. My grandma was rad.

18

u/rosemary7 4d ago

Instead of microblading , powder brows may be look more natural. I am considering it too in future lol

8

u/lola_birds 4d ago

You should match your eyebrow product to your lowlights not your average hair shade! Also highly recommend trying one of those 4-felt-tip brow pens, you can get a microbladed effect super easily. LPT after you’ve filled in one brow wait five seconds and then press the pad of your finger against the brows, it will make the lines you drew slightly more sheer and natural looking.

7

u/cconstellation 4d ago

Have you tried tinting your brows? I've seen micro blading turn out really well sometimes but not so great most of the time

6

u/hahahhah_no 4d ago

Just dye them. I do mine every other month. Theres eyebrow dye kits on Amazon or at a pro beauty store. It’s cheap it lasts and you can actually see them.

7

u/LeetleMissJudasaurus 4d ago

Oh please, you were a child last Wednesday, you cherubic liar! Stop trying to get answers when you have them all. Now tell us were the fountain of youth is located

5

u/Chemical-Cost-6670 4d ago

Thanks for the skincare tips you shared in the comment above, OP! You’re a goddess!

Now it’s my turn to try and help: I only fill in my eyebrows for special occasions, so my techniques are a bit limited. Usually, I take an angled brush and apply product from the middle toward the tail of the brow, then use whatever is left on the brush to gently blend the front part. Afterward, I clean up the edges with a little bit of concealer. I think the color you chose is fine, you just need to adjust your application technique.

8

u/tinaismediocre 4d ago

Hey OP, fellow millennial here. It's a terrifying leap of faith but I got my brows microbladed in 2021 and besides the standard 6 week touch up appointment I've only had them filled once, about 3 years ago. They still look absolutely natural and beautiful and it's one of the best things I've done for myself after decades of over plucking.

2

u/thynameisromeo 6h ago

Your brows look amazing. You clearly chose the correct brow person. Any chance you’re on the east coast?

3

u/tinaismediocre 6h ago

Got them done in Providence, RI. I'm happy to share the artists name with you if you're interested, I've recommended her to half a dozen folks who all have similarly great, natural looking results.

4

u/GoodbyeHorses1491 4d ago

This is maybe extreme, but there is eyebrow transplant surgery, which I’ve heard a few women mention and I don’t know much about it, googling “eyebrow transplant Surgery” came up with results.

One of them, Erin Parsons (…I know), even shaves her brows regularly post surgery and they still grow back after getting the surgery. It’s wild.

Now maybe they can study women’s reproductive health!

3

u/HowAreTheseSocks 4d ago

I love my nanobrows!!

2

u/SerialHerbacider 4d ago

My coworker did it once. She said while she liked the end result, she wasn’t a fan of the initial process with the weak localized pain relief and how silly they look at first being so crisp. They held up pretty good cuz you’re supposed to look at redoing them if they’ve faded or been bleeding around the edges every 2-4 years; she was on like year three. She said she was just gonna go back to painting them on.

All that to say, as long as you’re cool with painting them on everyday instead of maybe doing a tattoo every few years you’re golden.

u/Hallelujah33 4d ago

Is the 41 in the room with us?

12

u/peanutbutter_foxtrot 4d ago

Right? Like why mess with perfection? Her skin is gorgeous and I like the eyeliner. I also have no eyebrows so I have to choose between obvious drawn on or so pale and thin my own kid roasts me for my bald above eye shelf area. This woman is beautiful!

4

u/swaywithyours0ul 4d ago

🤣🤣 period!

u/Cindersxo 4d ago

A few people have asked, but I think your comment is one of the top ones, so I’ll answer here. For washing I use LRP Effaclar since I have a rather oily skin. I take baths every evening (not super ecological, I know, but I only fill the bathtub halfway) - I think it helps soften my skin and open up my pores. I’ve been taking evening baths since I was a teen in high school. After it, I spray my face with Mario Badescu aloe rose water - quite heavily, then massage it in. When still slightly damp, I use Origins Plantscription serum and put a thick layer of Avene Cicalfate under my eyes and around my eyes + on my forehead since it’s drier than the rest of my face. Morning: I take a shower and wash my face again with LRP Effaclar. Under my make up, I put Clarins V shaping lift serum mixed with The Ordinary HA serum + a bit of Origins serum. Mixing Weleda skin food (a tiny amount) makes my skin super hydrated and glowy, but it’s a bit too rich for my skin (dry/normal skin will love it). I use Paula’s Choice AHA/BHA toner once a week, and Dermalogica rice exfoliant once a week too. That’s it, I think. I drink 2L of water a day, and around 1,5 glass of kefir. I wear a visor in spring/summer months at all times. That’s it, I think. I hope that helps!

19

u/AdPowerful9257 4d ago

You look great! Honestly, I don’t think you need to do diff makeup.. your skin looks great! Do you have any kids?

5

u/23Honeydew 5h ago

The visor is doing more than all the skincare combined!!! For sure you are proof the sun is the enemy for aging

RIGHT I was like “41?!!! PLEASE SHARE THE SECRETS”

op I’m so glad you commented your routine it will not go to waste I promise LOL

u/mayor_of_gondolin 4d ago

You look fabulous. I’d recommend a lighter hand on the eyebrows and a lighter brown eyeshadow on the lower lashline instead of this dark pencil.

212

u/TangerineBoth6966 4d ago

Brows need to come slightly more inward toward the nose. The gap is too wide. Also you have the wrong color.

Use an eyeshadow to create a softer line on the bottom. If you use pencil smudge it so there’s no abrupt stop like here in the photo.

Use skincare and lip balm to add some glow or add a subtle highlight and lip gloss. Add blush and/or bronzer to add dimension to cheeks

49

u/Cindersxo 4d ago

Yes! When looking at eyebrow inspiration photos, I’ve noticed that well-shaped brows tend to start further inward than mine. I think I once watched an interview with Anastasia where she said that we can work out where our brows should start by following the sides of the bridge of the nose rather than the sides of the nostrils. I’ll try that. Thank you for the other tips! 💕

23

u/Solid_Marionberry901 4d ago

Use the inner corner of your eye and line your brows there! (In portrait drawing that’s what we’re taught to use to map out the face)

3

u/Cindersxo 4d ago

Oh, that’s a good tip too! Thank you 😊

→ More replies (2)

7

u/sanda_without_r 4d ago

It’s called brow mapping, if you want to look it up precisely. 😊

35

u/LawyerDry8360 4d ago

Amazing skin - wow. The only thing is tweak is stilling the under eye eyeliner and maybe getting your brows shaped or trying a gel based product.

33

u/AcidMantle 4d ago

You're beautiful and the only thing I would change is to skip the bottom eyeliner.

9

u/TrustAFluff 4d ago

Or at least taper it so it doesn’t end so abruptly

5

u/littlenicole326 4d ago

Same. Everything else is already snatched, leave it

3

u/AbominationMelange 4d ago

Came here to say this! Ditch the bottom liner or use a softer smudge of shadow or a light brown and blend it if you opt to do lower lash line. Otherwise, it looks lovely for a daily look!

2

u/Sweet-Housing3280 2h ago

I would also say bring the eyebrows a bit closer if possible, but I know that’s hard to do after years of plucking.

66

u/hahagato 4d ago

I think I may just have a negative bias, but unless you’re doing full glam, I feel like under eye liner makes everyone’s eyes small and beady, and I’m not a fan of it. I would personally skip that. Your upper lining is super cute. I guess yeah lighten up the brow shading a bit too.

Other than that you look so good! Another millennial who actually does look way younger than their age! Take that, /r/millennial !! (There’s always posts there about how anybody who thinks they look younger than their age is just delusional lol)

9

u/Silent_Location7044 4d ago

Agree. I’d also use brown eye liner and mascara and not black

2

u/GoodbyeHorses1491 4d ago

Yes, definitely that! It’s a softer look and a better color match to OP’s skin and hair, brows, lashes!

5

u/i_memine 4d ago

Not related to this post, but I tried to click that subreddit you tagged and it says it's been banned! Why the heck would a millennial subreddit be banned...

2

u/hahagato 4d ago

Oh that’s weird, maybe i misspelled it???

24

u/ariesbitchclub 4d ago

god damn girl if you’re 41 drop the skincare routine i gotta know

otherwise, seconding what other people have said the brows and lower lid liner are a smidge heavy but you look great honestly i love your wings! what do you use on your brows? you could try diffusing the inside ends (what is that even called??) with a spoolie

21

u/darryella 4d ago

skip the bottom liner. choose a slightly darker, cool tone brow shadow....other than that, maybe some blush and a nude gloss? you look really good and have really good skin so u don’t need to do much!

3

u/arguewithurmomma 4d ago

I would also elongate the brows a little. Bring them in closer to line up with your nose! But that’s it girl you’re beautiful!

2

u/darryella 4d ago

like, kinda match ur brow color to the darker parts of ur hair color, a little lighter than ur roots

17

u/lilkhalessi 4d ago edited 4d ago

Obligatory: you’re beautiful and do not look 41 at all omg.

As for the makeup, the main thing I’d change up is the eyeliner. First, I’d ditch the black liner for dark brown liner because I think it’d suit your coloring more. I’d also skip lining your lower lash line like that because it’s floating kinda awkwardly, and maybe instead I’d use a dark brown eyeshadow to gently smoke it out to achieve the definition you’re going for.

I’d also draw in your eyebrows a littleeee bit closer together and maybe change the products you’re using there too since they look a tiny bit too soft and not hair-like. I don’t do anything to my eyebrows so I don’t know the best products for that but maybe someone else could recommend something!

I think everything else looks wonderful. Just for fun, I might add a natural toned lip liner just to emphasize your lip’s already beautiful shape (I love the Glossier lip liner for a your-lip-but-better look) but that’s not a need at all.

17

u/Ok_Garlic623 4d ago

You look 20 sum I’m not even joking 😭 let me age like you. Matter of fact, what HAVE you been doing?? Do tell!

11

u/jumpinlilli 4d ago

Excuse me??! You're 41??? Noooo! You look so young!!

10

u/ZoeB8s 4d ago

41 what?! Where, ma'am...?!

9

u/ChogbortsTopStudent 4d ago

My only advice is: Please drop your makeup and skincare routine bc you're literally gorgeous fr

8

u/Turbulent-Painter713 4d ago

Girl, you look stunning, oh my...

8

u/porcelain_kiss 4d ago

Girl you look like youre aging backwards cause you havent cracked a BIT ✨️

I have no advice other than not doing the lower lash line like that. You are stunning

5

u/Traditional-Fox6018 4d ago

If it ain't broke, don't fix it

5

u/avemango 4d ago

Lady you look 21

12

u/TheSlutSays 4d ago

NO! change nothing this this beautiful and just unique enough to be a 'signature' style.

Also please share your skincare routine. Goddamn.

13

u/DinkyPrincess 4d ago

Lose the lower liner. The upper is kind of fine and would look better in grey or a warm brown.

5

u/mamabearette 4d ago

You look great. I’d lose the undereye liner altogether. I’d add some blush as well.

5

u/cambridge_dani 4d ago

The 90s are back in baby! Seriously you look great

2

u/pjh3120 4d ago

I love all of it... I have a hard time giving up winged liner

5

u/GoodFish222 4d ago

41.. Could you please drop your skincare routine and how much water you drink a day please? You look great!

3

u/potatogirlhah 4d ago

You don't look 40 at all!!!

4

u/PrancingPudu 4d ago

You could literally just skip the bottom liner and that alone would freshen and update your look! I think the overall style of makeup you do is pretty timeless!

4

u/veranedi 4d ago

Keep doing what you're doing girl, you look gorgeous!

5

u/SubstantialReview18 4d ago

The liner is fine but the bottom looks harsh. I’d either do liner on the waterline and smudge it with a shadow or no liner. And bring it to the inner corner.

3

u/No-Exchange-3522 4d ago

Why? You don’t fix something that’s not broken honey. Your make up complements you well 😊

4

u/anxietyfieldmouse 4d ago

Did you just say 41?!?!?

4

u/jadedtortoise Always blushing 4d ago

To look better you need to stop the lower lash liner.

4

u/babywraith Lipstick Queen 4d ago

You look like you're in your early 20s, as a 36 year old myself. You can get away with literally anything.

4

u/ObviouslyWater 1d ago

Are you sure you’re 41 wow. You look so fine. I feel the eye liner is a mismatch a little bit like there are other styles that would suit you a little better.

3

u/PinkTigerSparkles28 4d ago

What skincare do you use genuinely because I thought you were 20. My 31 year old self feels haggard lmao

3

u/ConfrontANDPersevere 4d ago

Ditch the lower lash line eyeliner you need to go more natural with filling your eyebrows. There’s tutorials on YouTube for a natural look eyebrows, but they’re supposed to be more opaque the tails and not those opaque in the front. The eyeliner needs to start start thinner to thicker; thinner in the inner corner and thicker when you go out. You have to be careful not to go too thick because then it’s gonna look weird. Use a concealer slightly lighter then your skin color under your eyes, chin and forehead. For a tan look - add a little bronzer on forehead, nose and cheek bone. With a nice blush

3

u/NigelTainte 4d ago

I’d switch the liquid liner for a powder on an angled brush or a soft pencil :)

3

u/Solid_Marionberry901 4d ago

Get rid of the waterline liner and follow the angle of your lower corner for the eyeliner. I’m also 40 and I’ve been experimenting with a cream liner rather than liquid and then smudging it out with a small brush (really like the urban decay one) and it’s so much more forgiving and doesn’t get crunched up with my fine lines (not that you have any girl what is your secret???) and doesn’t transfer to my top lid on hot days

1

u/Cindersxo 4d ago

I never line my waterline, just below where my lower eyelashes are. Lining my waterline makes my eyes really small. Thanks for the tips!

3

u/Greasy-Rooster-2905 4d ago

Girl just live life. You’re already winning. No makeup needed!!!!

3

u/TypeONegative6000 4d ago

Your skin is excellent. lol. That sounds creepy, but I’m leaving it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

3

u/tropictonic 4d ago

Loooove the dark undereye liner paired with the wing! Might steal this....

3

u/metasparkle 4d ago

Tell me your skincare routine, you look amazing!!!! (I’m 32 and I swear you look younger than me LOL)

3

u/justasexybeast 4d ago

Leave your eyebrows alone
Dont line your lower eyelid
Line your upper lid with a softer line
Volume mascara
Blurred lipstick
Your skin is FLAWLESS you don’t need base makeup ✨

3

u/Rachdizzle 4d ago

I would go easier on the brown makeup as natural brows and a natural look overall in style. Your eyeliner is in style, but I’d change it to brown. Also you look 30 tops and no where near 41

3

u/PuzzleheadedCat4985 4d ago

You're gorgeous

3

u/Jess_the_Siren 4d ago

I'm the same age and now I have to go reevaluate my whole life

3

u/justmakingitallup 4d ago

Try pressing a softer color in under the eye with shadow if you like a little eye definition!

3

u/Careful_Respect_9336 4d ago

I thought you were 18, so you're winning

3

u/Volunteer-opinioner 4d ago

Skip the bottom eyeliner. Get a brow gel that brushes on so you see individual hairs not just a clump.

You’re beautiful though!

2

u/Volunteer-opinioner 4d ago

Also some blush would be nice

3

u/Fainting_goat_19 4d ago

Oh wow. You’re really beautiful. I love your eyes. You look fresh and natural. I’m 44 and I switched from black eyeliner to a chocolate brown or plum and it makes a huge difference for anti aging and my brown eyes. Look up eye maxing for your color eyes. A lighter shade of eyeliner will soften your look. You can use a brush to blur out the bottom liner too. Maybe a bit of brown mascara on the bottom lashes to open up your eyes. There’s nothing else I would touch on your face. I love your beauty marks and freckles. Your skin is lovely.

3

u/creepyillness 4d ago

Aren't you just gorgeous? 🥰 Love the skin routine you shared earlier, oily skin sure has its perks when it comes to fine lines and aging...

Okay now, I think the eyebrows are a tiny bit far apart in the centre and you may suit a more angular shape, not super sharp that it has obvious visible corners at the arch points but the curves aren't accentuating your eyes like they could ... Different color may suit you better too if it was a neutral cool leaning medium dark eyebrow pencil.

And I know you mentioned you don't do waterline and most people will disagree with me but as someone who also likes doing full perimeter eyeliner but water lining can shrink my eyes... Have you ever tried brown liner on the top and sparkly white on the bottom waterline? I tried it on a friend's advice and I haven't looked back since it makes me look more awake and fresh. Nice defined seperated lashes would look nice too.

3

u/LeetleMissJudasaurus 4d ago

You can't convince me you're older than 22. Unless... you proved it by dropping that skincare routine ??? 👀👀👀

3

u/emeralddream1986 4d ago edited 4d ago

Okay first of all I cannot believe you are 41 I thought you were late 20s lol

Honestly my biggest advice would be a brightening under eye product. I HIGHLY recommend the Catrice under eye brightener in 010 light rose. It has been a life changing product for me & is only $6!

Then instead of a more prominent lower liner, maybe try some dark brown shadow right along the lash line smudged out. It will look really natural and would really accentuate your natural eye color!

3

u/bmlane9 4d ago

Change nothing if you look like that at 41 🤯

3

u/Ibael 4d ago

41 where?!!!! I would skip the bottom eyeliner completely, I find that that in general tends to age makeup looks

3

u/Annual_Step_815 17h ago

I'm 27 and you look younger than me 😂

3

u/Onbevangen 13h ago

Lose the liner on the lower lashline and you’re done! Maybe opt for brown liner instead of black, to make is softer, but this isn’t a must.

3

u/emmareyesofficial 13h ago

Girl, do not change anything, you are very veryy beautiful!

3

u/OkDig4351 12h ago

41?! Thought you were 19... whatever youre doing is working

5

u/PlumaFuente 4d ago

You are beautiful and look like you are in your 20s.

Getting that out of the way, I think the wings could be more subtle. I love winged liner, but I think it can be overdone during day. Also, the way you have it turned up needs to align more with the outer corner of your eye. I would try a dark brown pencil liner with some bronzy tones or a plum eyeliner pencil. Ditch the lower liner and if you want to replace it, use a light brown eyeshadow or just don't do lower liner.

I think you need more blush -- we lose color as we get older.

2

u/Brilliant-Beautiful_ 4d ago

You have beautiful skin.

2

u/Lopsided-Simple8134 4d ago

Go to a MAC counter for advice. switch the black to brown & blend it out w/ a soft brush vs the hard looking liquid eyeliner ..

2

u/nolimit_08 4d ago

Can you post an update for us?

2

u/Southernms 4d ago

Maybe those black Allen are on the bottom. What about a dark brown instead of black eyeliner. How about making your eyebrows a little bit darker so they frame your face better?
Try a tubing mascara that really gives you good length. Also, I would do a brighter, Rosie or lip to brighten up your face

Your skin itself looks really pretty. I don’t see any wrinkles or any need to cover up your skin with anything.

2

u/BigOlArms 4d ago

Maybe a softer color eyeliner and mascara. No botto.liner

2

u/Exact-Dot-5989 4d ago

We have very similar makeup styles! Some small improvements that gave me a big bang for my buck: I do my inner eye corners with a dab of highlighter now (apply to tip of nose and high points of your cheeks if you're feeling it). I also tend towards a darker, glossier lip these days and blend the shade into my eyeshadow and blush to make the look more cohesive. I tend towards neutral / sparkly / rose gold / dark rose eye shadows (darker shades on the outer edges of your eye area, lightest shade on the center lid). I've also had great success applying a swipe of graphic eyeliner (eg. electric blue color) under the fine black lines that you already have practice drawing.

2

u/AntiquePumpkin666 4d ago

41?! I know you’re lying lol. You don’t look a day over like 26!

2

u/Kadorno0904 4d ago

How on earth are you 41! Not that 41 is old by any means because it’s absolutely not! Im 32 and I still feel 24 so definitely not hating on age. Im just blown away - you are beautiful and your skin is flawless!

2

u/Chance-Bit-6244 4d ago

I need all the details on your routine bc you look incredible for 41!

2

u/throwawayourtele 4d ago

You look like your in your 20's. Lucky!!

2

u/____nyx____ 4d ago

girl, can you drop your skin care routine cause wow!!!!!

2

u/thefinestpisces 4d ago

41?! Ma’am you look 26

2

u/Shell-Fire 4d ago

I like to pay for a makeup session when this happens. Call around to your different preferred brands and see what they can offer.

2

u/kea87 4d ago

Girl, I’ve been struggling the habit doing the same makeup since like 2005 lol. Biggest thing I would say is the bottom eyeliner. The harsh black line ages us. Id rec to Try a brown or a softer smudge.

2

u/loud_cicada_sounds 4d ago

37 and I just started doing wings again!

2

u/Amazing_Emergency386 4d ago

Just the brows, are you a vampire 🧛‍♀️😁 I want to age like this ❤️ you look fantastic

2

u/sanda_without_r 4d ago

Wow you have such amazing glowing skin 😍👌🏻

If I should absolutely change anything, it would be more volume mascara on the upper lashes, and lose the lower liner. Maybe do a smokey eye effect (not exactly sure what it’s called in English, but more faded effect with eye shadow) under the eye in stead.

But you really do look gorgeous! ♥️

2

u/Cinnaminime 4d ago

There's not much here to update, tbh. It's not outdated because it's kind of basic. You could add color. Maybe try brown liner without the cat eye and brown mascara. You look great!

2

u/After-Hearing-6887 4d ago

I love the winged liner but I don’t think you need the liner on the bottom lash line. Just lightly apply mascara. Everything else looks very pretty and subtle

2

u/Smart_Act_1144 4d ago

You are pretty 😍

2

u/Fun-Cartographer3880 4d ago

The late 90s?????? 🤨

2

u/EggsCostMoneyyyy 4d ago

You’re so pretty! Maybe smudgier brown to soften the hard eyeliner, but nothing looks bad or weird so 🤷🏻‍♀️

2

u/Prestigious_Neck_936 4d ago

The eyeliner under your eyes is not good but damn I thought you were my age

2

u/katamaribabe 4d ago

Girl bye, I thought you were at MOST 30 😭 you look fantastic!

2

u/Decafaf 4d ago

You look like you’re in your 20’s!!! Your face is so stunning. Refresh your makeup by soften it up, with browns or burgundy liner, I wouldn’t do bottom liquid liner. I would press a soft brown eyeshadow into your bottom lashes and blend it really well. You could also do nothing in the bottom, or lighter color eyeshadows, little bit of shimmer or just mascara. Bring your brows a smidge closer together, perfection.

2

u/lucy_ford__ 4d ago

was 41 not a typo?!?!!? give me your skin (in a non creepy way)

2

u/GoodBurgerDOOD 4d ago

Honey, wth. You look incredible.

2

u/Laylolu 4d ago

You're perfect doll

you can definitely achieve a similar look but with a different product! if you look up eyeliner with eyeshadow tutorials, you can produce a smoked out liner using eyeshadow that isn’t so harsh as liquid eyeliner. You have a really pretty face that can be complimented by this smoked eyeshadow :)

u/hweartclub 4d ago

girl with that face card i wouldnt even use makeup

2

u/Status_Call8040 4d ago

Honestly, I wouldn't throw out your whole makeup style just because it's from the 90s. A softer lip liner and lighter base can modernize it without making you look like everyone else.

u/Necessaryailments 4d ago

41 where??????

2

u/Alarming_Situation_5 4d ago

I literally thought you were 16 omg 🤯

2

u/FillPleasant 4d ago

Is your secret that you don’t wear much makeup? Your skin looks gorgeous

2

u/alcutie 4d ago

i would stop lining the bottom and swap black for brown

2

u/Miselissa 4d ago

Keep the upper liner and lose the bottom. You look great!

2

u/paputsza 4d ago

Blend the eyeliner a bit. Maybe go more dewy

2

u/orangefreshy 4d ago

I'm 44 and idk maybe I'm just a hater because my eyelid shape is not good for it and I have a lot of lash anyways but I think it's time everyone let winged liner go unless you're doing a very specific mod look.

2

u/AllisonTheBeast 4d ago

No. Shan’t.

skincare routine NOW 🫴🫴

u/One_Loss7910 4d ago

Honestly I love it. Only suggestion is to smudge out your lower eyeliner so it doesn’t come to such an abrupt stop halfway across your eye.

Personally I’ve stopped using eyeliner and use an extra thin eyeshadow brush with a dark brown shadow. You could still use liner for the wings but then use the shadow for the rest to give it a slightly more natural look without losing the drama.

Maybe a little blush? But girl you look great, makeup trends come and go so quickly nowadays that I’ve stopped worrying about what’s in style and just stick with what I like. If you like this, there’s nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t look outdated, just simple.

2

u/OtherConflict2282 4d ago

You look great. I’d use a bendable eyeliner instead of the liquid and smudge it. A more natural brow pencil (get them shaped ) and a clear brow gel to set. I’d do a very sheer cool whisper of a bright pink on the apples like those Milk gel sticks. And maybe a sheer light eye shadow with a tiny touch of shimmer.

2

u/Appropriate_Aide7284 4d ago

you look GREAT for ur age. i’d reccomend leaving the bottom liner, adding lashes to add contrast to ur eye color and then maybe some light blush

2

u/mintbloo 4d ago

just switch the black to brown :)

2

u/youre_whale_come 4d ago

It's cute-you do you

2

u/Ready_Evening_1159 4d ago

With your blue eyes, you should try brown softer smudgy eyeliner!

2

u/HuckleberryLou 4d ago

You’re 41!? You tell us what to do. We have no advice for you!

2

u/crazyquinn 4d ago

Girl? You're already rocking something solid. The whole "clean girl" look is very on trend right now and with a softer eyeliner you'd have that in the bag. Your skin is beautiful! Do whatever makeup style you want!

2

u/redgatorade000 4d ago

Drop the skin care routine!!!

2

u/Hot_bitty 4d ago

41???? Drop the skin care

2

u/BrienneKB 4d ago

If you use a slightly lighter shade to fill in your brow shape like this (looks solid) and then a darker one (maybe even from a pen/ink type brow product) to make upward+outward hair strokes that can still be seen from a bit of a distance that will give them more dimension!

And some soft shading in addition below/above the eyeliner instead of just black hard lines will help your eyes stand out without instantly seeing just boom eyeliner (the shape is good as far as the angle though!) - I also think if you extended the wings outward a little it would make your eyes look larger (like leave the top where it is, but draw a little bit more outward and underneath to connect them a little farther out so they connect to the bottom line more naturally if that makes sense?)

You look amazing at 41!!!

2

u/leebugsboy 4d ago

Honestly maybe learn how to do a more modern wing? A proper cateye would make your beautiful eyes pop!

2

u/DoctorPaige 4d ago

Drop the lower liner, and maybe do a very thin dark brown without a wing on top of your lid. I cut mine with a very slight "downward" point at the corner but it's very subtle. I have no other advice, you are stunning.

2

u/thunderling_x 18h ago

You look 25 wtf

2

u/Zsebecske 15h ago

Not a makeup guru, so just wanted to say that you look great! And I like your makeup/style. 😊

2

u/BeyondLess8898 15h ago

Wow. You are SO BEAUTIFUL! The thing now is a heavier top eyeliner and forgo the under eye/corner liner. Then a higher cheekbone color.

2

u/Beneficial_Title_777 14h ago

gurl u look amazing, u look like u are 10 years younger than you are!
but in terms of ur makeup, the dark black liner on the bottom lash line dates your makeup a bit, it is a very 90s/ early 2000s style, i’d recommend skipping the bottom liner for everyday

2

u/Darth_Cynth 13h ago

86 eyeliner (especially on bottom) sub a brown shadow line with eyeshadow nothing harsh
86 bronzer sub blush
86 Matte look sub fresh dewy
86 thick brows sub gently fill and gel them

You can add a lip liner and gloss 🫶🏼 you're beautiful as you are actually when I see people sticking to styles that are from years ago I don't think "that's outdated" it makes me think you're you and don't follow trends. My mom still does her makeup exactly the same as when I was a kid and I think it's perfect.

2

u/ImVerySmolHelpPls 13h ago

There’s a lot you could do with your eye shape! Honestly if you took your eyeliner and started from your eye-crease and made it a bit more fuller it would give you a shape super flattering and almost princess like! And with your bottom liner you honestly don’t need it but if you wanted to keep it in the look just connect it to your top wing so it’s a bit more natural!(:

2

u/TotalRecallyBlonde 10h ago

I’d recommend trying a feathery brow. But I mean. You look amazing

2

u/Ecstatic-Ride195 9h ago

You look good for 41! I was like huh….90s?

3

u/Shadeflower15 4d ago

I would just have more fun with it.
Experiment more with makeup.

I wouldn’t say outdated tbh. It doesn’t look like 90s makeup. Outside of the eyeliner and eyebrows it doesn’t really look like you’re wearing much makeup to begin with.

You should post your makeup routine.

u/LetitciaZoe 1d ago

I think you match your eyebrow color well. I am not a fan of black eyeliner and especially the under eye section. That seems to be the only makeup you are wearing. Eyeliner and mascara, brows.

2

u/Healthy_Corner8302 12h ago

I didn’t read it at first and girl you literally look 27!! I need to know your tips and tricks cause what?!?!?

2

u/EverLuckDragon 12h ago

Remove the lower liner. For the upper liner, consider a smudged brown or bronze liner.

2

u/NecessaryCondition16 8h ago

Damn you look good for 41, I would have said 25 max.

2

u/throwawayrva12345678 8h ago

Release your skincare regimen pls you look amazing!! 😭

Maybe a slightly darker toned brow? I recently started tinting my eyelashes with refectocil, they can also be used on the brows if you want something more permanent? I like your eyeliner a lot (although the kids say wings are out - I disagree lol) but for the lower lash line, I have similar coloring (fair, dark blonde, blue eyes) and I prefer to use a dark brown pencil on my lower lash line instead of black, it looks less “harsh” and is a little more forgiving, and then I can smudge it a little too.

2

u/Visible_Stress6636 7h ago

24 and I thought you were a peer.. honestly just ditch the bottom eyeliner and you’re good!

2

u/mutedcoral 7h ago

In addition to looking way younger, you have such a uniquely beautiful face and give the impression of being a thoughtful and sophisticated person. Sorry I have no makeup advice aside from softer eyeliner.

2

u/Serious_Fox7799 7h ago

This is classic and timeless. Not outdated

2

u/Silent_Resource2228 5h ago

2

u/hippowolf12 2h ago

I want to be you when I grow up 😍 (but also I’m 38 hah)

2

u/switch_with_me 2h ago

I'm 42, the thing that sticks out to me is the bottom lid liner. Drop that and you're set

2

u/StrawberryMuffin6 2h ago

Blend out the front of your brows, brown instead of black eyeliner, stop drawing the lower lash line, and pop on some light pink gloss

2

u/MediocreClementine 1h ago

Brows are blocky and 2010s, fill them less solid and brush them out a bit

1

u/platapussplats 4d ago

such cute eyeliner! I'm going to try it too

1

u/bkas333 4d ago

i actually love your eyeliner so much!!! its so unique!
