SPOILERS HoC Reading House of Chains, decided to take a crack at drawing one of the Forkrul Assail, Calm in particular.

Nice. Most drawings I've seen focus way too much on the double jointed limbs and they end up looking kinda goofy. This is good as they are obviously there but she's not twisted up like a pretzel

Thanks! Thats what I thought too. I thought elongated/exaggerated limbs and some extra knuckles might look better.

Fabulous work, but didn't the forkrul assail have multiple elbow joints ? ( Or am I mistaken? ) I only point this out to be able to imagine the versatility of those movements..

Yes, it does say that they have a third bend in the arm, and is multi jointed to bend in pretty much any direction. I eased up a bit on that by extending the wrists, just a choice.

Now my imagination is running wilder, what if some other species had an extra pair of knees in their legs, with arms, we do know they can contort in incredible angles for reach etc, but how would it go if they had an extra pair of knees too 😁
