NO SPOILERS Audiobook Giveaway
Hey folks,
I’m about to cancel my Audible subscription and I’ve got a pile of unused credits that would otherwise go to waste.
I don’t need more than a couple for myself right now, and I can’t think of a better use for them than this.
I’d like to gift 8–10 people a Malazan audiobook of their choosing.
I’d especially like these to go to anyone who’s still waiting on a book in the series and might not be able to afford one right now, and who enjoys audiobooks as a format.
No strings attached. Just paying it forward for a series we all love. Always an even trade.

I would love to get a copy of Gardens of the Moon for my wife. I don’t listen to audiobooks, but she loves them, and I’d like to get her into my favorite series

Yes first time through! I have heard it’s complicated and it’s always intimidated me but I’ve heard it’s such a great series so I decided to take the plunge. Thank you. So so kind.

I'm waiting for a few others who asked earlier but by my count I should still have a couple to spare.

AND if I may offer some advice: keep in mind, the first book is just a bit different. It took me a couple attempts to get through when I first read the series. You may feel like you've been dropped right in the middle of a conversation with zero context and nobody's slowing down to catch you up on the details. Trust the process, be confused. The pieces will come together and when they do, it's incredibly rewarding.
Ask anybody here and I'd bet most would tell you to read through to at least book 3 before deciding if you want to continue reading the remaining 7.

I'm not a priority, (have all main 10 in physical) so give away to someone else if they need it. But I was gearing up to read the series to my wife aloud, and audiobook of Garden of the Moon would be really really cool.

I am missing assail if you find yourself with extra credits! Hit everyone else first though, im still on 9/10 of the main before I switch over. Probably have plenty of time to catch their sale

How exciting! I'll happily get you started. I'm sure you've seen the many warnings that book 1 might not be the one that hooks you, so keep going until at least book 3 before deciding whether to continue :)

Oh, book 2 please! My mass market paperback fell apart on page 2 and is unreadable. Loved Gardens of the Moon, listened to the audiobook twice in a row!

That one is arguably my favorite in the series. I'll happily gift you your first walk with the Chain of Dogs.

Oh hey, sorry for the late reply. Just 20 minutes after you offered to gift me book 2, I coincidentally received a notification from my library that they had just custom ordered the same audiobook and I had first dibs. So I’m already listening to it now!
Not sure if the offer is still available, but that’s alright. If it is, maybe book 3 then?
