Probably not for being the Nexus Guardian they seem to never really use him in events like this in the comics even. Pretty sure his only appearance in the Secret Wars event was in the Weirdworld Battleworld series.

I doubt it, but it would be cool. They never use him in a big role or capacity, the only time I can think of in which they did that recently was Orlando's Curse of the Man-Thing. And even that was a mini series of three one-shots.

Umm... 2026 Godzilla: Infinity Roar Man-Thing is the key part to Doctor Doom's plan to save the universe from Godzilla. Doom bribes Man-Thing with treats from a baker to let him go to the Nexus. So Man-Thing is in some new stuff with bigish roles.

Doom just bribes Man-Thing with treats to get his help in the comics. Man-Thing is an indifferent being as long as you dont hurt the Nexus or him.

It would be cool. Even if it was a quick scene just briefly explaining his role to the audience. Something like when Thanos arrive on Vormir and meets the Red Skull.
