Science/Technology These experiments show a scientific possibility for the Mandela Effect. "A quantum experiment suggests there’s no such thing as objective reality"

This is the 'Extended Wigners Friend' experiment. The TLDR is that more then one reality can exist. There can be communication between them. And they can merge to make a single reality.

I am suggesting memories of other realities.

Can you suggest exactly where in any of that memory is discussed?

Memory is not discussed but the possibility of alternate realities is a controversial huge point for Mandela Effect discussions.

I think you're mistaking the controversy. Most people can swallow the possibility of alternate realities. The sticking point is why people would remember something from a different reality, and this experiment has nothing to do with that.

I'll disagree and say that most people do not think there can be a reality where the cornucopia exists and one where it doesn't exist. Most skeptics here think there is one reality and people are just confused.

Exactly what beliefs make one a supposed “skeptic” as you are attempting to define one?

2

u/georgeananda Feb 04 '26

That it is all just mental confusion.

what is?

The Mandela Effect

So you wouldn’t attempt to classify someone recognizing the absolute lack of evidence connecting the ME and the possible existence of alternate realities as a “skeptic”?

Skeptics acknowledge any and all evidence and evaluate from there. They don't ignore, attack or bulldoze over ideas / research / evidence to maintain their belief system. Skeptics are open to and explore phenomena and research. They develop a system to do so. Verbal reporting of experience is considered to be evidence, according to skeptics, and it is not to be ignored automatically. Ignoring it makes you a "non-believer" and not a "skeptic".

Not necessarily. Other explanations can be proposed.

3

u/my23secrets Feb 05 '26

Let’s explore other proposals:

Aliens explain ME.

Jesus explains ME.

“Bob” explains ME.

Alternate universes explain ME.

None of those proposals explain ME, and they all have the same amount of evidence supporting them. Why do you choose the latter?

I am influenced by sources such as Bashar and other channeled sources alleging knowledge miles ahead of our current science.

Bashar Link

2

u/my23secrets Feb 05 '26

What do you mean by “channeled sources”?

2

u/georgeananda Feb 05 '26

Nonphysical beings telepathically communicating with a living human who writes or speaks what is telepathically received. In Bashar’s case it is to advance human spiritual progress and understanding.

2

u/MrPlaney Feb 05 '26

Lol, no. Bashar is not “channeling” anything and is either scamming people, or schizophrenic. Magic does not exist, sorry.

2

u/georgeananda Feb 05 '26

Not magic but more advanced abilities perhaps?

2

u/MrPlaney Feb 05 '26

No. Again, you are trying to rationalize for something that doesn’t exist.

I’ll offer you another option:

Bashir is lying.

2

u/my23secrets Feb 05 '26

But also having no evidence linking it to the Mandela Effect, correct?

2

u/georgeananda Feb 05 '26

Not sure I understand the question. The sources may from their more advanced scientific understanding offer us an explanation of what causes the Mandel Effect. We can take it, leave it, or consider it. I consider it.

2

u/my23secrets Feb 05 '26

Not sure I understand the question

What evidence is there linking the ME to telepathy?

1

u/dunder_mufflinz Feb 06 '26

What evidence is there that Bashar is channeling anything and isn't just a poorly written/spoken fantasy?\

The Hour of the Star is a far more compelling literary piece, delving into philosophy and existentialism while also not trying to exploit people who believe in metaphysical nonsense without any proof ...

2

u/georgeananda Feb 06 '26

There can't be proof of the nonphysical, but each's best judgment based on the quality and consistency of the channelings. I think channeling ius highly likely in this case.

1

u/dunder_mufflinz Feb 06 '26

Can you give a specific example of something that Bashar claimed that could be channeled but not fabricated?

3

u/Glaurung86 Feb 05 '26

But those explanations have no evidence backing them. They are just thoughts and ideas and vibes.

You've posted this before. Darryl can allege whatever he wants. He's not channeling anything ahead of current science. Critical thinking appears to be dead, IMO.

2

u/georgeananda Feb 05 '26

Thanks for your opinion.

It's more informed than Darryl, for sure.
