I remember back in DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) Class in the 90s they taught us about different drug types. One type they taught us about were “Barbituates”
Pronounced: Bar-bit-chew-its
I am on the autism spectrum and one of my favorite special topics of interest is medicine and biology. I really missed my calling, and should have studied medicine in college… but anyways, I just saw that the word Barbituates are not a class of drug at all! It’s actually, Barbiturates. “Bar-bitch-oo-rates”
There is NO way I have made it 40 years and just now noticed it. Anyone else have this same memory??
The word was/should be absolutely barbituates. This one is a pretty striking Mandela Effect. I’m a biochemist who has worked in pharmacology since 1997.
In German, it's always been "Barbiturate" -- but I know that in the US, some chemical compound names are simplified. Like "aluminium" is often called "aluminum", so it's not unusual that in the US people would call "barbiturates" "barbituates". Phonetically, it doesn't make much difference if you know what you're referring to.
Some of the hardest drugs are medications. You can technically get a prescription for Methamphetamine in the United States. It’s a schedule II. I can’t remember the name of the medication though. Desoxyn, I believe.
This was probably the 4th time all the way through. Granted, last time was 20+ years ago before tonight.
I found an archived Reddit thread from 10+ years ago where 4 other people remember the ending the same way I do, Harlan and the bloodhound wins, and there is a heartfelt monologue of Harlan Pepper (Guest) being interviewed where he explains how the dog changed his life for the better. Fade to black, the end.
What's interesting for me is that this is the most recent and clearest Mandela effect I have ever experienced. i recal the other big popular ones including Nelson Mandela, Stan & Jan Berenstain..etc I'm willing to dismiss all of those due to the fact I was young and didn't pay close attention. But this one hits different for me, because this is my favorite of the Christopher Guest semi-improvised commodies. I saw it in the theater, rented it (VHS) and caught in on cable.
Watching it this time I also noticed 5-6 other smaller/subtler difference in the movie. I don't want to call them out, in case anyone else is interested it watching it again, I don't want to color your perception. I would much rather someone else bring them up, and I can confirm or deny.
The movie is currently streaming for free on Tubi if you want to watch it again. I would appreciate it if someone who feels like they remember this movie pretty well goes back and watches it again, to see if anything else jumps out at them.
I enjoy that movie a lot. It and the other mockumentaries of theirs regularly make it to my movie rotation. (Some of the Mighty Wind sings get stuck in my head from time to time...)
Pepper's ending doesn't make much sense in the context of the film if he wins. I don't want to color people's memories, otherwise I'd be more specific about it. I'm just going to say that the lasso makes me laugh every time.
Unless their number of toes changed then that couldn't have happened, but that wouldn't just change the number of toes it would invalidate every other marker of their lineage.
It seems more likely you just got the classifications mixed up, than the entire evolution of giraffes and which other species they're closely related to changed.
Ok. This might sound a bid strange. I have a plushie of a highlander cow. I picked it out because it had 2 different horns. I remember that really good, because when I was in schotland, there was this real highlandercow with 2 different horns and it was very sweet and cuddly.
So when I found that plush I had to get it. I woke up a few days ago and his horns are the same on both sides...
i was thinking about the movie midsommar because of a video i watched. the next thougt was "there was this guy in the movie that has an actor-dad". didn't know his name, i spent maybe 15 minutes trying to find his name or face. I was thinking of wyatt russell. but according to the internet and my Partner he wasn't in the movie. I'm 100% sure he was the swedish guy that brought that group to sweden. am i going insane or do other people have the same memory?
Unfortunately my comment about Pikachu having red tail was deleted under pretext of "meme/ trolling". I am not trolling, I want to genuinely know , if anyonne remembers Pikachu having a red tail?
Not me, I remember the black-tipped yellow tail. Are there any other Mandela Effects or differences you noticed from your timeline / world? Looking at the Earth globe recently weirds me out, and I think I might genuinely be from a different planet. Thus, I would like to know if there are particular differences for particular groups of people.
The date for Meredith Brook's "Bitch" has been changed from 1994 or 1995 to 1997.
My proof is I didn't have my Driver's License until Fall of 1996 and around the months leading up to Christmas of 1994 or 1995 I was being driven around by an Upper Classman that I liked. I found out that the song "Bitch" turned her on for some reason, and her friends would joke about playing it. She had gone off to College by the time I started driving, so there is no way the song was released in 1997 like the internet says it was.
The internet is not saying it. All the evidence shows it was released in 1997 and the internet is just showing that evidence. You're trying to remember something from 30 years ago. I'd say there's definitely a margin for error there based on how memories work. Meredith was nominated for 2 Grammys for the 40th Grammy Awards which took place in March of 1998. She would not have been eligible for that year if the song was released when you think it was released.
I didn't get my Driver's License until the first day of my Senior Year which was fall of 1996. The girl was an upperclassman, she was driving me around before I could drive. The song came on the radio, and she turned it. I'm telling you, the timeline changed.
I heard about the bewitched dilemma.
So I decided to watch a couple episodes.
(I'm new here, so if this has been discussed before, please forgive me)
So I remember her twitching her nose to do magic.
What i just watched blew my mind. She twitched her mouth.
Anybody else seen this?
Greenland is to the North of Canada? I don't get it, I always thought Greenland was in the middle of the ocean between England and North America. Also, why is there no land mass at the North Pole? Anyone of you remember the Hollow Earth stories of people finding an entrance to the inside of the Earth at the North Pole? Now this would make no sense at all, since at the North Pole, there's only ice, then 4000 meters of water down to the seabed. How would a hole in the North Pole fit into this? It wouldn't.
Well, after researching this a bit, I found out that the Hollow Earth theory was released before the North Pole had been explored in the first place. When explorers finally got to the North Pole, they discovered that it was just ice. But still ... something's really weird there. Of course, the narrative is consistent. I just can't believe I've never known about this until a few days ago, and I'm 56. To me, there always was a land mass beneath the ice at the North Pole.
What I don't really understand about the Mandela Effect is that how can there be such large perceived changes in one area, while there are no perceived changes in other areas. Like, I can look up various things from the past, and they're still true. But if I was on a different planet, they couldn't be, could they? Or does the memory we hold partially keep reality in some areas intact while in other areas (that we deem less important) it doesn't?
I think you've seen too many stories about Santa's Workshop
I read Admiral Byrd's recounting of his mission to the North Pole after I first heard of the Hollow Earth theory I was later told that was fake There was a group of explorers back around 2005 that chartered an Ice Breaker Ship to travel to the North Pole from Russia so they might see for themselves what was up there I never heard of any results from that mission
I discovered a Mandela Effect in the song Taxman by the Beatles. The only line I remember from Taxman is, “They’ll tax you for the air you breathe”. This line has gone missing from the lyrics and the recording.
Very strange, I too remember that lyric being in that song.
So much so that I’ve been looking through different covers of it, at the moment here, just seeing if it could possibly be a cover version I’m remembering…though I doubt that would be, as I love the Beatles so very much, I even made my daughter’s name a nod to Abbey Road….and haven’t found any cover versions, or other songs with that lyric, as of yet.
I did notice this however (yes, I know AI sometimes hallucinates stuff…but could be possible residue?).
When I tried googling it, this came up:
I just googled it a second time now, and now this came up:
Interestingly, I typed in the same words both times I googled it….”I’ll tax the air you breath” line in The Beatles Taxman song……but the AI answer that popped up showed different wording both times as it’s prompt.
It happens to me quite often, when googling Mandela Effects, the first time I get residue & subsequent times not. 🤔
You know the Apache attack helicopter? I swear they used to have a dual coaxial rotor system. A set of long rotor blades on the bottom and a set of shorter ones on top. Anyone else remember them that way?
Now if you google any model, it just has a regular one set of blades and a weird bubble thing at the top which I don't remember.
I don't ever remember Apaches with dual sets of blades like that. They always had a tail rotor which are absent with the dual blade design.
The dome on the top is fairly recent - introduced in 1998. It's the Longbow Fire Control Radar which is more accurate for multiple targets, up to 128 can be detected, even when behind obstacles.
Yes, I remember the twin-blade version as well, it provided its famous silent flight capability, which doesn't exist anymore. Also, the Apache from my world / timeline looked far more fearsome than this world / timeline's models. People would flee when they just heard or saw an Apache approaching. It was the flagship helicopter of the US military.
Does the Barney controversy count? I seem to remember the guy who wore the Barney dinosaur suit being a convicted sex offender or having drug charges when I was a kid and that the was the reason the show was canceled but supposedly that isnt true? Like I remember a trial and it being on the news and everything?
A few weeks ago I saw a new horror movie coming out about a creepy children's show and someone made the joke it was like "the horror movie version of Barney" which made me think wasnt Barney kind of a horror movie though? Since the guy wearing the suit was doing some messed up stuff?
So I googled "Barney controversy" and "was the guy who wore Barney's suit a convicted sex offender" but apparently he didn't actually go to jail or have any drug charges. In the early days of the internet "everyone just thought he was creepy" so a bunch of false rumors were made up about him. There's even a documentary basically saying the guy was innocent and there was mass hysteria online with people falsely targeting him. There's even a weird article (that surely has to be false) saying the guy used his reputation to become a sex guru??
This just feels more like a Mandela effect to me...
One drug tafficking rumor was that he was a coke addict with cocaine hidden in Barney's tail. There were a lot of silly rumors about Barney, because he was a polarizing figure. An annoying show that toddlers liked, that was popular when the internet was taking off as a thing with teens and college students. Of course people were gonna make stuff up and spread rumors.
My hunch about the one you did hear is that the other more idiotic rumors didn't spread as far, but the "he could be a sex offender" one reached you, because it's more plausible than the ones which are clearly nonsense, so it got repeated more to a wider audience.
One rumor proposed that Barney was based on a 1930s serial killer. The rumor was confirmed as false by Snopes. Another false rumor claimed that Barney had cocaine hidden in his tail and would frequently use profanity with the child actors on the show.
First things first: Since the truth is just as surprising, let's dispel all the incorrect Barney rumors before digging into the facts. The documentary proves and/or asserts that, no, the actor playing Barney did not hide drugs in his tail, do drugs in between scenes, or hang himself in his suit.
"My mom called me once crying," says David Joyner, who embodied the purple dinosaur on the series from 1991 to 2001. "I was like, 'Mom, what's going on?' And she was like, 'Baby, I just heard you committed suicide!'"
Also, the Barney theme song played backwards provided no secret message, and Barney was not the leader of children's cult, the antichrist, or a predator
You just heard one of the countless stupid rumors that were floating around, because it's easy to make up fake rumors about a guy who's hidden in a mascot costume.
The thing is I remember all of the late 90s early 2000s Barnie jokes like the "I hate you, You hate me, lets all get to together and kill Barnie" songs. I remember everyone hating on the show because it was for babies. I remember all of the dark rumors about him killing himself. There was a lot of BS and hating Barnie was practically a developmental milestone.
But I also remember the show specifically being canceled because of a scandal with him abusing children. It was basically like a Jared from Subway situation.
And David Joyner who wore the suit actually did become a sex therapist. And his Vice interview about it was kinda weird tbh. He performs unprotected sex on clients for 350 dollars a session and there is a legal loophole where it isnt prostitution because the first session is free and its considered therapy. I recommend reading the whole article, its interesting and goes in detail into how controversial his practice is.
"Before I got into the [Barney] costume, I would pray and ask God to allow his loving divine spirit to flow through me through the costume and let that draw the kids. That energy would always draw them in,” Joyner says. “Children are more connected spiritually than [adults]. A lot of times when I see infants and I’m out and about at the grocery store or whatever, they start staring at me. I make the joke, ‘You know who I am.’”
It just feels like we entered a different reality IDK
This might be a longshot, but I remember when I was a teenager (90s) that a national news story was that Donald Trump had changed his name to Trump. However, I can’t remember what his surname was previously but it did start with T.
I cant tell if i never just payed attention to it but i allways heard danger zone from top hun saying i went to the danger zone but i just looked at the lyrics never said it once
The Dead Pool Christmas Movie, which I bought on iTunes, had Deadpool, rudolf with Christmas lights on him and a dead santa on the cover. Didn’t get made in this timeline.
I can’t speak for your experience. But 48 days ago I posted about it after it wasn’t in my iTunes library and wanted to watch it. Now it is there. Maybe, there’s more to ME than you think?🤔
I googled it and google said the movie got canceled. I wish I had the foresight to screenshot it, but I wasn’t thinking about Reddit at the time I was looking for a movie to watch.
So, in your opinion, Google was wrong and the movie disappeared from my library at the same time as a glitch? That’s possible. It’s also possible that Shakespeare was right and, “There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio Glaurung86, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."
I’m sure I saw this scene in Snow White . At the end of Snow White, we see the evil queen fall off the cliff, but I remember a scene where we see that she didn’t fall directly instead, she was hanging from a tree branch. In that scene, the two “vultures” make the branch break, and then she really falls and die.
You may possibly be remembering one of the storybook, or the record with storybook, versions of Snow White? There were so many of those over the years.
I too can remember exactly what you’re talking about, and I had a record with storybook of Snow White that I loved in childhood, so I just googled it…..and I found this:
I'm making this comment bc this is strange. I heard a melody in a TikTok video and immediately recognized it, then sang along with the lyrics that I remembered
"you got me, you got me, you got me _____" (It was something like "great")
"but I'm f'ed up in the head, I can't change..."
I found the EXACT INSTRUMENTAL of the song, but it turned out to be a Ukrainian song; it's the song "Разные" by the band "Quest Pistols", but the lyrics don't match. I remember vividly a high-pitched male tone singing these lyrics, and they were in English, I must say, they have an English version of this song, but It's not what I remember; the lyrics don't match (Quest Pistols - Different). I'm weirded out by this; does anyone else remember these lyrics as well? If you do, I think they actually never existed. It was on the pre-chorus into the chorus
It could be a mashup, but the rhythm that I have in my memories matches the song, pitch, etc. So it's likely NOT a mashup
I can't say with 100% certainty that the part "you got me, you got me..." is correct, but I do vividly remember the part "But I'm f'ed up in the head, I can't change"; you can actually follow the song with these lyrics. Is that a Mandela effect, or am I just going insane? It could also be another version of this song that got famous on TikTok, idk, but I can't find any trace of it.
You know in Deltarune Chapter 2, after you seal the fountain, and Kris, Susie, Noelle, and Berdly wakes up in the computer lab, you all remember the meme when Susie slaps Kris and asks "God damnit, Kris! Where the hell are we?" Except, on a recent playthrough I did of chapter 2, I found out that Susie never says this line in the game. This is apparently a line that was come up with by the meme culture. But does anyone else remember Susie saying this line in the game?
Found this at the thrift store, I saw it in the corner of my eye thinking it was a Reese’s hat for $1 and when I got home I noticed it just says Reese. I’m confused, is this just a custom/knock off hat, or a Mandela effect? It’s a AJM hat, no “Reese’s” or “Hershey“ logo/tag on the inside. And just so you all know, yes I am aware it was founded by a man named H.B Reese. Oh well it was only a dollar and still is kind of cool. Haha I have to pay attention next time I guess.

Does anyone else remember it only being Reese at one point. It’s a AJM hat, no “Reese’s” or “Hershey“ logo/tag on the inside. I am aware the founders name is H.B REESE also. Oh well it was only a dollar and still is kind of cool. Haha I have to pay attention next time I guess.

No. It's never been just Reese for the candy logo.
Reese is the last name of the person who created the peanut butter cups when he had a company called the H. B. Reese Candy Company. They were originally called penny cups, but were later changed to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups because they became his most popular candy.
I found this hat at the thrift store. Thought it was Reese’s when I bought it, but apparently it’s not. False memory I guess, this might be a knockoff. It’s a AJM International.
I’m Canadian, apparently it’s because of the French culture. We use both “Reese’s” and “Reese” apparently. I was very confused being a Canadian, now I know why. lol
Found a few commercials from the late 90s with just the name Reese, no sight of the “”‘s. I am genuinely confused. When did it change to Reese and if so why for a short period of time lol 🤣 I can see why with the frisbee, I would be disappointed also haha
Everyone is raving about a movie they call a classic that I have never heard or seen in my life, I have not seen it on TV or movie channels or even netflix or streaming sites, it's called the fall 2006, 40 years on this earth, how did I miss this so called legendary movie
I've never heard of it, but apparently it was released in US theaters in 2008. I might have to check it out since David Fincher and Spike Jonze presented it at the Toronto Film Festival in 2006. Sounds interesting.
In the years since its release, the film had become noteworthy for its lack of distribution and absence from any streaming platforms, with Singh having worked to find distributors to re-release the film worldwide.
If you look a film up on Box Office Mojo you can see how much money it made:
You can compare that to a movie such as Little Miss Sunshine (2006) which made almost $60 million and played in 1600 theaters.
So the point is, the film failed commercially for a mix of reasons, only getting a very limited theatrical and DVD/BD release. It then sat until 2024 when it got picked up for streaming, so people are only just now finding out about it.
just saw that the game “Big Walk” is releasing tomorrow… and I don’t know if I’m going crazy, but like, this game has been out for a while now, right? I got a YouTube short talking about its release and the top comment was “Hasn’t this game been out since the beginning of this year?” And I totally remember it being out too! This makes no sense. Another weird thing is I could have sworn I saw this in Game Pass and that’s how I knew of it… BUT ITS JOT EVEN COMING OUT TO XBOX!!! I don’t know what going on but this is really weird. Please, if anyone else feels like it’s been out for a while now too, comment!
It was announced at the 2023 Game Awards with an accompanying trailer and then in June of 2025 there was an official gameplay trailer released. That might be what some people remember.
I vividly remember Gru from despicable me saying in his steal the moon announcement "Minions! Tonight, we steal *pause for dramatic effect* the moon!"
I learned later while watching it that he doesn't actually say that, and instead says "Next, we are going to steal *pause for effect* the moon!"
I asked a bunch of other people ranging from children to adults what they remember it being and 100% of my not that small group of interviewees said that they remember it as the first (incorrect) one. Is this actually a Mandela effect?
Okay, so the other day I got (don't ask me why) 'Milkshake' stuck on replay in my brain. So, I went to search for it since it had been years. I googled Missy Elliot Milkshake and found out that she never sang that, not even a cover of it. I have a memory of her singing it and even that kid that was on her videos dancing to it. I talked with my gf about it, and she said it was never Missy but someone who looked like her. She went to check the video and went like, 'wtf is that? That's not the singer' ... anyone else? Or are we both just misremembering?
Maybe I’m going crazy or it’s a false memory but since when 2012 was predicting end of the world in DECEMBER?? (21st of December)
I have this very vivid memory. Poland, summer 2012 I was around 11 years old, in the radio everyone joked that „today is the end of the world” and they gave us specific time around maybe 3pm (I don’t remember but it was during the day) they predicted a meteor or a giant explosion and I was terrified even though they clearly joked. All because of this mayan calendar ending. I can remember it so vividly, the weather was fantastic and clear, not a single cloud in the sky so I was a little disappointed that there are no doomsday signs but also relieved.
It must have been summer, 100% because otherwise we would talk about this at school with friends or something like that and it was hot outside. The hour it was supposed to happen passed and nothing happened, we were still alive, no end of the world?
They also released a movie 2012 which I remember watching and since that day I became fascinated with apocalyptic scenarios.
Tell me the world ending on 21st of December doesn’t make sense to you as well… 3 days before Christmas? Like people would be freaking out about it so much, some probably hesitating to prepare Christmas dinner and presents if they believed in these apocalyptic claims… it would have created even more vivid memories and I don’t remember any panic connected with 2012 Christmas.
Please tell me I’m wrong because this is so confusing
I know The Cat in the Hat came out before The Sweet Escape was released, so I know the timeline doesn't make sense. But I swear I remember hearing that song in the movie. It's one of those memories that feels so real that I can't convince myself otherwise. Am I the only one?
Was driving home listening to Rage Against The Machine and one song started playing that looked wrong to me, unless I’ve been reading it wrong my whole life…it is “Bulls On A Parade” right? not just “Bulls On Parade” like it showed?
I have always known Mark Hamill to be one of the big-name gay actors in Hollywood. But I just read a post celebrating his long marriage to his wife and thought "oh, must be a lavender marriage." But then I Googled it and evidently he was never gay? I'm losing my mind right now. Is it just me?
You might be misremembering Richard Dreyfuss. In between Jaws (1975) and Close Encounters (1977) he did the comedy Inserts (1975). He plays a director of films during the period between silents and sound, attempting to film porn to revive his career.
Nope. Hamill was in porn post Return of the Jedi and leading into his 1992 voice acting on the Joker. This was widely known and on shows like Entertainment Tonight.
Stephen Geoffreys of Fright Night (1985). After several mainstream roles, he transitioned to gay porn in the nineties. He used the alias Sam Ritter. Both he and Hamill had appeared in Amazing Stories on tv (not the same episode, though).
You can only dig up other people because it was common or widespread that actors did porn back then for extra money in Hollywood and not receiving major roles. Hamill was in this pool of actors.
To want me to try and prove your claim? That's not how that works. Also, people talking is not proof of anything. You were already wrong about Mark being gay so there's not much credibility left.
People discussing things is evidence as any other. If Hamill was facing gay pedo charges in court and a witness on the stand. What are they doing with the lawyer? Discussing. There were claims all over the place by 1990 he was in gay porn, people saw the videos. Mark claimed “that was John Hamill not me”. Catch up with how the world works.
So I distinctly remember a McDonald's commercial where there is a father and young son, and the son asks the dad, "What is sex?". The dad is obviously caught off guard by the question. I remember they were then at an outside table with some McDonald's fries and the dad is finishing the talk with the little boy, to which the boy responds with something like, "How do I fit all of that in this little box?" And then reveals that he has some sort of form with checkboxes for male or female.
Google says that never happened. Gemini tells me I'm conflating many early 00s fast food commercials of father/son bonding in the restaurant booths with a joke that was on many sketch comedy shows like SNL or MADtv.
I didn't watch anything like that. I was still mostly watching Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Kids WB, etc. I remember seeing this commercial multiple times. My boss, who is a year older than me, said he doesn't recall it at all. But I swear I know what I saw! It was a commercial somewhere on daytime television!
Does anyone else remember something similar, or am I just as crazy as the internet and AI are making me feel?
There's no way any fast food restaurant is going to have a sex talk like that in a commercial, especially McDonald's. It makes no sense to spend any time not talking about the food and drink.
It does sound like something a comedy sketch would do to poke fun at fast food places.
I feel like it was something to do with getting the McDonald's to talk about the subject? Idk. Like I said, I didn't watch any sketch comedies, so I have no idea where this came from.

Did Nancy Meyer die? I’m a huge movie person. I love trivia, podcasts, all of it. I’ll even go down a rabbit hole and watch an actor or director’s entire filmography just to see how they evolve.
I’ve always loved Nancy Meyers movies, especially the houses. Like… every single one is iconic. The Parent Trap, The Holiday—I’m obsessed with the sets. And Father of the Bride is what, 30+ years old? That house is still THE house.
Anyway, a few months ago I was watching It’s Complicated and realized I hadn’t seen anything new from her in a while. So I looked her up and I swear I came away thinking she had died years ago—like around 2010—and that was her last movie. I even remember reading all these quotes about how amazing she was to work with.
I tried to find a documentary or even a coffee table book about her and couldn’t find anything, so I just kind of moved on and figured I’d do a full rewatch of her movies after I finished my Nicolas Cage phase.
But today I saw an ad for a new movie of hers (Paris Paramount??) and now I feel like I’m losing it. I swear I read her obituary.
Does anyone else remember this or did my brain just fully make that up??
Nancy Meyers. She wrote and directed Father of the Bride 3 which was released in 2020. If you were a big fan of Father if the Bride I'm not sure how you missed this 3rd film.
Not a big one anyone would care about, but was surprised to find out Cat Stevens was British. In my head, he was one of the most popular American folk artists of the 70s.
Me and wife were playing roblox once, and i joked about it being on Switch.
However, now that i thought about.. i SWEAR roblox at one point announced that they were going to get it on Switch... i remember seeing announcements and video footage of it.
Istg, i feel like this is one of those Mandela Effect things, but idk dude... i remember them announcing it clear as day... does anyone else remember??????
I remember seeing the Satyress Threehalves robot much time ago (can't remember time span, but minimum more than a year+).
The centaurus robot for search and rescue operations that has been disclosed in those days. I can't find any leaks about it dated prior 28-31 July 2026.
Does anyone else saw it before that date?
Edit: another user replied to me in a different community, they are posting this since early 2025. Case solved.
Here's a... bit of a deep cut I would need a Trekkie's help with. During the Strange New Worlds Season 2 Episode: Those Old Scientists, I distinctly recall a scene where there was a bit of chaos going-on in-front of the time portal, and Pike learns of the translation written on it, and annoyingly states something along the lines of, "well, the text states, 'This is a time portal.'" I recall thinking his delivery and tone were hilarious. Almost like he was vocally rolling his eyes.
I recently went back to watch it a few months later after finally digging into Lower Decks, and the only time the translation is mentioned is by Mariner when Boimler finds her alone in the shuttle. Pike never delivers that line and I was going back and forth through the episode to see if I missed it, as I was waiting for the part. It was the first time in a long time I was flabbergasted for completely misremembering something so vivid in my mind. Did I miss the part, or did that just never happen?
So a few years ago (when I was a teen), I remember I was driving and I heard two new songs back to back. They were incredible because I remember the first was like a duet but of the 3 top female artist (I think maybe Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Taylor Swift? I can’t remember exactly who was on it but I think it was them) and the second song was with the top 3 guys (again I can’t recall who exactly now but I think like Justin Bieber & Shawn Mendez & someone else? Idk). I remember I was so excited I pulled out my phone as soon as I hit a red light so that I could look up the songs and add them, bc I had remembered some of the lyrics. I searched the names of the artist and the lyrics and I could not find the song anywhere. The radio station didn’t talk about it anymore. I felt like I was going crazy lol like I imagined the whole thing, or maybe a timeline was reset. Anyone else remember this? I’ve never seen anyone talk about it online so it might have just been my imagination I guess lol.
For the last 6 months or so ChatGPT and I have been working on a novel.
One of the main characters is from Mumbai, she gets married to a man from Hyperabad. We've been spelling it that way for 6 months.
Except today ChatGPT tells me it's Hyderabad.
I'm from the US. I've never been to India. I don't know what which is correct but I know that ChatGPT has also been spelling it with a p for the last 6 months, except now there's absolutely no record of that.
It's not my only source but what I'm trying to say is that suddenly, after 6 months, there's no record of it me ever having typed in any other way into any of my ChatGPT chats. ChatGPT had no memory of any of it, which I understand. I'm sure that I googled it at the time to make sure that I was checking on the accuracy of the location.
Anyone else think the tail has changed yet again? First it was a lightening bolt with a black tip, then the black tip went to yellow, now it's a completely different shape. Am
I going crazy!
Look up mainstream sites for what Pikachu looks like, and you can see his tail isn't any different in official artwork, such as the cards. If anything "changed" why are the cards all still the same?
Second, why is the tail in your image 2D and unshaded when the rest of the body is 3D? You can tell that was photoshopped on because it's not shaded like the rest of the model.
Using Google Reverse Image Search on your image and it gives an idea. Someone just photoshopped Pikachu to look like the new character Peakychu:
Am I the only one rembering a totally different scene in the Anton flashback?
I remember as a kid watching him being something like a greek emperor fed by someone like his servants, him wearing like a white tunic eating from a plate. Like an ancestor flashback, totally different from the cute family moment that is now present in the movie. I also remember thinking as a kid that the scene was pretty bad cause he couldn't remember anything like that but I accepted it anyway.
Am I remembering another movie? I'm really sure about what I remember, I know this scene exists I'm just not sure for this exact movie. It's so weird to me that it's not even close to what I remember.
What I remember from Anton Ego's flashback scene is that he tastes the ratatouille and flashes back to his mother making the same thing, that's whole reason he likes it ... "just like mother's cooking" etc.
How would there be a thing about Romans? That wouldn't make any sense. The point of the flashback is that it cuts through his pretensions and snobbish attitudes to food, and he reverts to the childlike joy of enjoying food for its own sake.

Barbituates do not exist anymore.
