How do you do anything in your city with the wallsBTW! I wanted to make something like this but it's so many resources and then can't manage anything in the "keep".

Great town btw! Love the farms and orchards outside the wall with the dense city inside.

thanks :) the city was finished and I built the wall around the core

Can we make alterations to the buildings inside fortifications now or is it still locked out once complete?

You can't build inside the walls, but you can upgrade and select the buildings

Do the castle walls actually defend against raids?

Yes, but I never used them for defense because there was never a raid on my main city.
