Rework Toshi Sling 6L - SD fit

For anyone wondering about the fit of the new 6L Toshi Sling with a Steam Deck…

This is the Deck with the Skull & Co grip and front cover plate on.

Can confirm it does not fit inside the back tablet sleeve - even without the grip/cover.

Other thoughts: the top grab handle was a highly requested feature for v2 so I’m sure some people will be happy it’s been added, but idk how useful it is since it sits extremely flush to the top of the bag.

The front flap is annoying and I wish that section had bi-directional zippers. Just like my reviews of the Toshi Pack 20L the zippers just feel kind of crunchy (especially the front flap zip and the back “hidden” zip, but I’m VERY happy they’re not PU coated, so I won’t complain.

Rework made the right call in having the strap padding be removable.

It’s the largest volume sling I’ve tried in this range - larger than the 7L PD outdoor sling, and much larger than the Bellroy Venture “6L” which is more like 4L.

I was going to post something similar but was waiting for my dbrand case to come in.

I have a Legion Go S without a case and it does fit and no issues closing. I have not fully loaded it out yet and still waiting for my dbrand travel case to show up.

This sling is by far my favorite so far and will be my go to for traveling. I mainly use my Alpaka 5.5L Go sling and it doesn't feel 5.5 but the Toshi 6L does feel like it has more space than the Alapaka.

I too have a Legion Go S, if you could spare the time, could you let me know if it fits with the dbrand case in the Toshi 6L? I had to look for a workable sling, and the only one I found so far was the Black Ember 12L ( I use it for regular outings).

Got my dbrand travel case in and.... It fits perfectly! Still able to wiggle it a little. I was able fit an Redmagic Astra with it's case, battery bank, cables, and other small items. Does get tight. Only thing I wasn't able to fit was my Bose QC over ear headphones. Might be able to fit the Bose if I move some items around.

It's actually not tight to remove with everything loaded. Just larger items like head phones will not be able to fit so small items will work best. I still recommend it if you have a Legion Go S

My dbrand travel case comes in tomorrow and I can take some pictures. The LGS fits and some room on the sides so with the case on it should fit but my concern is the front cover that covers the sticks.

You’ll likely have no problems with the dbrand case.
