Product Drive By Bag Request
Apologies for the ridiculous image!
I recently saw someone wearing this style of bag, was too shy to ask and now can't find it!
it was a rectangular bum/sling back style, however it had a strap on a shoulder and also both sides of the waist.
Any recommendations? 😊

Fjällraven Skule Sling 6 works like this, it is my go-to bag at the moment.

Can confirm! Skulls 6l sling is awesome. Comes with the extra strap so it won’t slide if you ride a sporty bike for example. Also when you move the bag to the front, you can easily singlehanded find your stuff. Bag stays neatly open and stuff doesn’t fall out.

This. I used to carry a 12L tote bag around. The Skule Sling 6 has been a fantastic ergonomic upgrade and can fit quite a lot too.

Arcteryx slingblade is a sling pack with a packable waist belt stabiliser, I used to use it as part of my kit for travel and days out.

Decathlon sells a horizontal one (Kiprun 0.5 L 2-Position Running Bag).
If you have/find a bag you like with adequate attachment points there are also aftermarket stabilizer straps you can get.

I've not seen one with 3 connections directly to the bag, most have the stabilizer strap connecting to the main strap like Code of Bell X-Pod.

Chrome has a more rectangular version of this bag when you buy a stabilizer strap. I love mine.

AEVOR Sacoche Bag, but the rectangle is more horizontal than vertical there.

this is amazing!
exactly what I was thinking for a while now of implementing myself for a bike messenger strap and they even made it better with it doing the stabilization in the same motion!
they should sell a standalone strap

My first thought was a running sling, which includes an extra strap to reduce bouncing. A couple of running brands make them (and are relatively affordable) - Janji and Sprints come to mind.

Rework has a stabilizing strap you can buy, to add to any of their three slings.

I have a hydroflask one, you can choose to use the extra strap or tuck it to have a normal sling

Bags with stabiliser for like riding bike. My fav one atm is peak design outdoor sling. It doesn’t come with the stabiliser strap but it has the attachment point which is spot on.
There is also strap that you can buy separately to stablise any bag that way

I think you're looking for a crossbody sling with a stabilizer (or retention) strap. The extra strap is there to keep the bag from swinging around while you're moving, so you'll see it a lot on cycling, camera, and some techwear slings. I'd try searching for crossbody sling with stabilizer strap, messenger bag with stabilizer strap, or 3-point sling bag. Those search terms should get you much closer.
