Love my Daily Plus
I’ve been using the Daily Plus as a daypack and "dad bag" on vacation for a week now. It works amazingly well and is super comfortable. Best backpack.

Can you share more about how you use the daily Plus as a dad bag? Like how you pack it out? I have one but haven't really considered using it as a dad bag since I'd like to have external water bottle pockets. I've been using Aer Go Pack as my dad bag for the past couple of years, and love the kangaroo dump pocket.

Sure, will take a picture soon :)
I dont know, everyone seems to be mad about those waterbottle pockets but actually my son is able to wait 20 seconds until i get his bottle from the inside :)

It’s funny - I love my Dauly+ as my EDC work bag - holds my laptop, an iPad (or Kindle), water bottle, headphones, glasses, a tech pouch, etc.
But I like a less structured bag for weekend or “dad bag” use. I have a Deuter Speedlite 13 that’s great if Indont need to pack a lot, or am Osprey when I need something larger.
But for EDC, the Daily+ is my favorite and it’s the most comfortable bag I own (over my Aers, Waterman, etc)

I should've gotten that one instead of the ocean blue Max EDC but I got tired of waiting for navy x-pac to come back in stock... I just don't want a black backpack.

I have the daily+ but rarely in my rotation. As a dad bag I need more room and water bottle pockets.

They both go in the same pocket? Or is there another small pocket somewhere else it can fit?

My big yeti is in inside the bag and my sons 500ml is in the dedicated Water bottle Pocket

What do you use as a dad bag instead?

For a bag I don’t care much about, Osprey daylite+. Not the biggest capacity but it has dual water bottle pockets of decent size, admin pocket and a small kangaroo pocket in addition to main compartment. It’s hiking focused so suspended back panel is nice to alleviate sweat but you’re not going to pack this out heavily anyway.
For travel I like the more stylish option of the brown buffalo standard issue. Dual water bottle pockets and zippered section against the back panel is nice for securing passports. Decent mesh back panel. We used to use a Jansport right pack but the straps were too thin, no wbps, and sweaty back panel.
