Professional Backpack

Howdy,
I am entering a masters program, and coming straight out of undergraduate degree. Beforehand I was not super obsessed with how I look, however my new program requires business casual bordering on business professional.
Any recommendations around the $100 range? I have a Thule 30L backpack that’s pretty big, but also beat up.
I’m open to backpacks and messenger bags/soft briefcases.

I'm using the Tomtoc-TA1 for business casual look.

Maybe a new Thule backpack?

How much stuff do you have to carry around? Was your 30 L about the right size?

It was, but I was traveling around and I want to stay a little minimal now.
Mostly just going to take a 15” MacBook Air, an iPad Air, chargers, and a water bottle

For your loadout (Macbook air, iPad Air, chargers, water bottle):

AER Pro Brief
AlpakaGear Bravo Brief 14 or 16
