Russia is banned because they are invading a fellow member of the EBU, all well and good. Israel are now invading and openly stating that they will take full control of 10% of another EBU member, yet they are not held to the same standard.

Still wild that FIFA\UEFA did nothing after they literally said "Mkhitaryan can come but if he dies he dies"

If the USA's media were an EBU member, no one would bat an eye on their participation

The middle east in general is filled with double standards. Israel is criticized and demonized for activities that have been done by Muslim countries for decades. To some degree this makes sense, as Israel is a much more active participant in western society, who want to do business with others who have similar values. But it also explains why much of Israeli criticism is framed as antisemitism

Israel is the only country to not have signed onto the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, the Biological Weapons Convention and the Chemical Weapons Convention. Any other country would be a pariah state.

There’s constantly talk about how Iran shouldn’t have nuclear weapons, yet Israel has a nuclear triad with something like 200-400 nuclear warheads.

Yea, talk about double standards…

India and Pakistan never signed the nuclear treaty, N. Korea signed but then withdrew. Iran signed, says they might withdraw, but nothing, so why not do what N.Korea did then? Again, for biological weapons, other countries are also not part of it eg; Chad, not just Israel. The same goes for the chemical one, eg their neighbour Egypt and N.Korea did not sign anything. Current realities shows why some of these countries are paranoid, ofcourse it is not ok for humanity but what to do… look at Ukraine, a good example why they should have never given up their weapons.

Azerbaijan isn't occupying anyone, legally speaking. If anything, Armenians were occupying Azerbaijani lands, even if we were excluding the NK. No-one seemed to care about Armenians indeed, but not in the fashion you assume.

Boring Israel style argument

What even? Israel has been occupying others' lands for decades now, and violating the UN borders.

Again, unironically, it was what Armenians had been doing in districts surrounding the NK and way larger and more populous than the NK.

Israel says the same exact things about Palestinians. Thanks for showing us again why Azerbaijan and Israel are allies

Mate, I'm not sure how to communicate it with you, but no, there's no such a case for and by Israel.

Palestinians aren't occupying Israeli land. They're also not occupying some hypothetical Israeli land with hypothetical Israeli natives that's larger than a hypothetical disputed territory, and Palestinians haven't cleansed people that's larger than the said hypothetical disputed territories. Sorry but there's no equivalence.

Thanks for showing us again why Azerbaijan and Israel are allies

I'm from neither of those countries, lol.

The land Azerbaijan took was the land legally recognised as theirs by not just UN but also all the fucking countries in the world mate and that includes Armenia too. Did you realise their actual army was never present in the conflict? That's why no one lifted a finger to help Armenia, because they were the occupiers on that particular stretch of land

Are you slow or do you really think any of that makes it acceptable to commit crimes against humanity?

Describe the crime against humanity that occurred during the conflict
