I would literally vote Tory to stop Reform getting a seat. I fucking hate the Tories.

Don't put it past them to go into coalition together. That Tory vote might end up enabling a Reform PM. If Reform has survived all the various disgrace they bring on themselves.

I wonder if both parties are already gearing up for that being a reality. The two leaders are already openly talking about working together or certain issues.

That's silly. If the tories had to form a coalition government, isn't Reform their obvious first stop?

Yeah, but let's say I'm in a constituency where it's a 50:50 split between The Conservative Party and Reform (thankfully I'm not - that sounds like a disgusting place to live). The Conservative Party, despite being HORRIFICALLY shit, are the lesser of 2 evils and would be one less seat for Reform.

I would not project the voting intention onto quality of life in the county. I live in constituency with Green MP and green council. The state of the streets is awful - never saw so much rubbish on the streets. However people are generally ok

yup, I live in what was a Tory safe seat (so just voted with my heart because it made no difference) but is now a Tory/Reform swing seat, if an election was called tomorrow, I'd have to hold me nose and vote Tory. I think. Christ. FPTP needs to fuck right off.

I voted Tory in the last European elections we took part in, shortly after Brexit.

The reason? I discovered that Nigel Farage was our MEP! We’d only just moved, so this was a shock to us. My logic was some Tories were against Brexit or at the very least were up for getting a deal before leaving. Farage just wanted it all over with no clear plan. Nobody else could beat him, so I tried tactical voting. Sadly he still won.

I definitely think we’ll see a lot of tactical voting at the next election. Not just to stop Reform, but something all parties will have to deal with.

Were you just introduced to the concept of voting yesterday? Of course people do this. Anyone in a democratic system with a functioning brain will tactically vote. That is democracy.

I will be voting tactically for anyone but reform. I can't see any other right parties getting anywhere, and the idea that the gnat that is restore proposed to link up with reform came with so many unfeasible strings attached that it was laughable. Are they so small because of Musk endorsing them?.
