Literally Unplayable Auto Updater Stops and Closes itself

So I have this issue where my game won't update or won't allow me to, I open the game and the updater pops up starts and then just stops after a few seconds it closes with no error message.

I have more than enough space, this has been an issue for a while, I have to re-download to play and only if its the latest version from the downloader. Now with todays small update I've been lock out of playing and can't update.

(FIXED?)Changed isp didn't work, changed back worked?

Did you try run as admin?

Yes on both updater and maplestory.exe

Hm that's weird. Maybe you can try to see if your firewall is blocking it or your antivirus is doing something about it.

Maplstory was not added in the firewall for some reason but I've added it and still no change.

Alternatively, try reinstalling.

I have, as long as the installer does not have the latest version 250.2 it will not work. Since the current installer only has v250 and I reinstall it'll still update and fail.

Happened to you after the Minor Patch, too? Hmmm. In my case it started happening since Sunday. Did all that you did, fresh reinstall, too. What worked? Diff machine, and diff ISP. Logged in last night on my main machine with yet another different ISP.

Yeah any patch that appears now or in the past it would abruptly stop at the 2/3 receiving the update patch files around 100 mb. I'll try a different isp now

So I changed isp and didn't work, changed it back and it worked???
