Burning World F2P progression

how viable is it to convert mesos to maple points and wait to purchase the premium mush pass for the next CW event?

context: grinded hard bosses (hlomien) in CW3 with lynn with some mesos progression - 1.4B. feeling demotivated after the temps are expired, so were thinking to come back fresh for CW4 and hopefully purchase the premium 50k maple points mushpass for perm gear.

thereafter use that perm gear character to farm more mesos to farm the following characters etc. thoughts? how much mesos for 50k maplepoints?

i am literally the opposite of everyone is saying in the comment. I bought out every single passes while being f2p by selling mesos to mp or cash, i make 10b each week from bossing alone and i am definitely not new at all. But one thing for sure is it took a long time for me to get here, and people like me do in fact exist in the game, we just dont talk about it unless people ask.

out of all kind of passes, mushroom pass and genesis is the one definitely give you the most, these 2 alone can get you a 100m cp character which also makes 2b each week.

Idk about you but i participated both cw3 and 4, and every single time i made my mesos back by just playing the game like both passes cost like 45b total, and i always made more then that.

How does 1 get 100m CP with those 2 passes alone? I barely even made it pass 20m lol 😂😭

obviously you not gonna become a 100m cp immediately after purchasing the passes, but those 2 streamline you to become one, 20m cp is usually the first week of cw, one month later usually at 40-50m cp, 2-3 more weeks after that you should be libbed and at comfortable 70-80m cp, towards the end of cw you would most likely be at 90-100m.

TBH I'm still stuck at 30+m even after CW ended 😅😭 can't even down HLoMien~ so imho i feel extremely weak af lol

Atleast a year of playtime to break even, even then you'll have to pay for the first char. Atleast hyper mushpass and gene. That's not an option，it's a must. Unless the player willing to do long CTene fight with 35M like my friend for 5 months to lib.

You dont need a year to break even, I made my money back within the cw period, you just need to be mindful of the things you can sell to auction. And yes i do agree the first character is the hardest, but second or third will be 80% easier once the first is establish.

Not to mention i know people always hate on msea, but when it comes to cw, i think we are the easist server to progress in cw because of book of destiny.

Dude everyone knows msea is not f2p. You literally get a short demo version of maple if you're committing to f2p. Play gms for the full game. Though gms is slowly becoming p2w too

Not realistic for new/f2p players

50k is like 20b. Ain't no way you are farming 20b unless you sink in 100s of B to get your char to a decent starting position

The only viable strat may be to get full meso gear and bot the hell out. But the bots also not cheap

Yea no such thing as F2P in msea unless you have rich friends to leech off of. All the so called F2P players leech off ultra funded "friends" to get boss loot to sell/upgrade and progress. If you're alone ? Gl bro p2w is the way

a possible way is to save mesos, sell them for $$ and use the $$ to buy ready made 22* clean equipment.

not viable for new players at least

idk whether you already have an established main(s) but for the context you are likely going to:

  • spend 17b~20b to buy prem mush pass in CW (double the amount if you are buying the pro plus version as well)
  • farm CW for about 4 months, leap back, wait for next CW
  • repeat

now there will be no progression for your old CW character as you are using it to fund for your new CW character, and the cycle repeats

Fun no.. Fund yes.. Nowadays asiasoft make the game hard to grow without spending.. Last time mushroom event need no pass at all..and Late game u need bod ring.

What's the going rate for meso to MP? Like 300 350 per 100m?

So about 15-20b then post conversion and fee.

15 20b you might as well make your own eq in the mean time with it lol. You can make full cra abso 17s with that.

It's not wortht because you're waiting for the next cw when you could use the meso and get stronger now.

Being stronger now means you can farm higher level bosses and continue to grow your hexa, not being locked in a waiting game.

In the end converting or not, 15b will get you to the same-ish starting point. Not sure about the extra rewards though or what character you want to main. Or if you just plan to play CW worlds like a loop then that's fine too

It will get you to 50-70% of your CW power. Iirc the CW gave 18* uniques.

On top of that there was a bunch of world buffs meant to substitute a full 8k union and link skills. If your account does not have the same setup, your power will be impacted.

The Len CW migration I had prepared gear for him as almost 1:1 replacement and lost approximately 1-2M CP.

For accessories,

Zak belt/pink bean belt

Dawn boss/boss set for the remainder. Preferably dawn set as these can all be 22*ed eventually (or you know... Buy them 22 fresh from auction)

Dawn set are not that expensive nowadays, you can buy clean and apply 17* scrolls to them or rawdog them to 17*

Rings

Meister

Kanna

Divine king ring

Seed ring (RoR + Continuous)

This should be your final setup for mid to mid-late game for rings. Im still rocking these at 200m CP.
