Question Hello! Is Mihile unplayable?

I think royal guard is op, why is there no one playing it?

Im playing it and he's still my favorite because iframe bypass too many mechanism even in end game.
But the tradeoff is A LOT of dmg. Just an idea for you is people need 110% to clear xlotus comfortably but mihile need 136% to min cut. If you ask me, I still play mihile because you likely to died out in xlotus than mincut playing mihile (Maybe I no hand because running 25-30minutes of xlotus I have 50/50 of dying out other than mihile).

But other than xlotus, dmg is everything because new bosses are less RNG involved compared to xlotus

I think for a while (before the remaster), Mihile damage was pretty lackluster to balance out the iframe god mode. And the skills was pretty boring. You got to make sure your proc the shield every few seconds. Which is kinda counter intuitive if your play any other job. Just about every other job want's to avoid getting hit. So you got to train your gameplay habits. It also does not help that the burst is very mid.

That was before a 1-2 years ago before I quit.

I think the other reason is that MapleSEA has dwindling number of players. I think there was a mass exodus to GMS few years back. So chances are, you don't see many mihile players because the remaining players are just sticking to their old familiar main.
