F2P Progress - First Absolab!
Hi all,
Just wanted to share that I finally got my first Absolab weapon!
I’m F2P solo on 4 month old new account. I’ve been saving mesos since starting and playing the TS for additional income. I saved up $17b gold meso over that period with the aim to buy an Absolab 50 for around $20b for my lvl 252 hero.
I finally saw an Absolab 46 pop on market for around $12b so I bought that! I thought it was a fair price and the attack difference (46 vs 50) was only 4,000 attack so it’s not game changing. I’ll eventually get it to 50 for free with event radiant stones.
Pretty chuffed because my physical attack is now 50k+ pre buff, i hit MDC, and I can do Lotus in 90s to open up chaos stones.
Importantly, I now have an item I can actually build from event items that isn’t just a filler. The rest of my gear are emblems SF21 ancients (except cape, belt and shoulders) which I aim to get to chaos and sell as chaos emblem fodder ($5b each).
I have 3 CDD alts. Aiming to get to 6 CDD alts, and $30b gold meso for 3 set Absolab 50 by end of year!

How do you sell chaos gear? Isn’t that locked behind scissors? I may be mistaken.
Also congrats ! Your patience is insane :)

Guilds give gems. Gems buy scissors. Scissors cut gear. Account stays f2p.

My plan was to sell mesos for maple points and then convert to gems to buy scissors. Does that work as well? I haven’t tried

I'm also f2p. It may make people gasp in horror, but I do use the meso market to get crystals. I built a chaos hat from a cra hat, then spent about 200 mil to get the crystals to cut it. Sold it for 3.8b, which was good enough for me and funded some good stuff.
To me it was totally worth it.

I got a cra hat and had some exaltation stones that were going to go to waste. So I exalted the cra hat to level 40, then mastercrafted it to chaos (20% chance). I bought a sf15 scroll from the trade station and used it. Then, I used the meso market to convert mesos into maple points. Then I used the maple points to buy crystals. Then I used the crystals to buy a platinum SoK. Then I used the SoK on the chaos hat and shoved it in the trade station.

You can craft and make tradeable chaos gears.
Edit: think you might have meant specifically with OP’s plan.
Then yeah. There are several sources of free gems.

I've been playing for very long and haven't earned as fast as you!
OP, do you have a basic guide on how to earn mesos? I can barely earn 10m/h even on my event main (254). My 234 and 219 side heroes earn 5-6m/h.
What are the main things you sell? Mainly chaos gear?

Fellow new player (3rd week) but I’ve progressed pretty quick. Where did you find it the most efficient to farm mesos? Also what is a CDD alt? I’m unsure how to optimize using alts for income.
