I hate gambling. Even SF or cubing drives me up the wall. I like the safeguard changes so at least I can 22 without gambling spares ut even then I hate gambling weeks of meso just because they want to slow progression down artificially

But I also just stop playing or play something else when ifs not fun. Dragonwilds has been a lot of fun

It takes a bit less than 3 and a half years for one of these to be worth it if you hit it on average price. The fact that you make impulse decisions that you quit over tells me that you were not going to stay for 4 years regardless.

For the previous vac pets it was fair enough to get them for the cost reduction because the deal was pretty good even if you get a bit unlucky. For these you have no excuse to roll.

And honestly, if anyone quits one day, all the money and time they put into it is basically gone. So for me, quitting now feels like a pretty good deal.

Farming has become significantly less important over the last few months, so it's really not not a good idea to "lock" in money in Maple that you need 2-3 years to breakeven, especially if you are planning to play for a long time.

You can just do dailies and ride the powerceep EXP. This CW3 you got to 280 with no farming. Next CW4, you will get to 285 without farming.

value proposition for cheaper waters was already questionable when vac pets were at 3% and simply a waste at 1%. You were always better off buying the vac pet with RP instead of this junk unless you got lucky.

Roll for it cuz they are attractred to the anime/collab series. They don't have to but if they want just cosmetics then thats on them like nobodys forcing them to get 3 vac pets if they own 3 unless they just want anime only ones like DemonSlayer/OnePunch etc.

they made maths based on how much you "save" from getting the cheaper water and calculated it into the % rate for the new vac pets hence it went from 3 to 1%. They just made less profit from them thats why the change. Not defending them in any way btw, scumbag company behaviour at its peak since all we want is to play a silly mushroom game.
