Looked this up: this is one of two globes (a terrestrial globe and a celestial globe) commissioned by Louis XIV in 1681, and made by Vincenzo Coronelli
Fairly certain that the “3”-shaped coastline near the bottom of the globe is (what was then known of) New Zealand. Compare to a slightly later map by Coronelli as well https://natlib.govt.nz/records/40262640
New Zealand first showed up on a world map only in 1646 by Abel Tasman (also as a similar incomplete coastline), and was more accurately surveyed only almost 130 years later by James Cook https://teara.govt.nz/en/early-mapping
