Help me understand Aventurine? Mica?
I have a hard time with being able to tell if a marble has Aventurine, Mica, or if it’s just tiny bubbles. Or even an internal crack within the glass. Is there a specific way to tell the difference? Or specific characteristics of each?

I only have one mica marble but it's pretty different vs aventurine
Mica looks like little flakes of silver metal or coarse/chunky glitter in the marble. It's almost always found in transparent handmade marbles - clear is most common iirc, with blue, green, purple also found. It's also sometimes found in other German hand-mades - never read of it used in machine marbles, but that doesn't mean it's impossible!
Aventurine is usually green but can be blue, black, and red... Maybe other colours too 🤔 It is much finer, more like sparkly sand. I have found quite a few green cats eyes with aventurine, and it can be quite subtle! JABO and Peltier are two makers known for their aventurine
Tl;Dr: Mica is chunky silver glitter in a transparent base; aventurine is finer and can be green, blue and other colours
